Very Deceptive Picture of room”
We spent 2 nights. Room and bathroom was clean, however the large room’s window glass pane was painted white to we could not see out of it. Could open the window but as it was cool both night could not leave it open. The reception show in the pictures in the restaurant and one does not use it to kcome in and out of the accommodation this is via a huge metal gate down another alleyway behind the restaurant and through a number of locked doors and high celling corridors . Never felt unsafe at any time just very confusing.

Very clean and well kept. The ventilators really did not move any air. Not asking for air conditioning but something that moved air would have been nice.

Perfect location for launchpad in Cinque Terre”
Good . Location is just less than 100m from Vernazza Train Station : can just plan 5min to catch the train . Easy check in and check out : Luiza was very helpful, and also spoke good English (and Italian). Check in is quite easy to find, the PathShop souvenir shop. . Clean rooms, nice view of street from room Areas that can be better . Steep flight of steps to room. But then again this is very typical of Cinque Terre and I must say this accomodation is already one of the least trouble to get to. . Can be noisy (since so near the train station), so light sleepers definitely need ear plugs.

nice room in Vernazza, but...”
Vernazza is a wonderful town that everyone should visit and stay. Rollando had some problems. First, the owner is only in town through about 5 pm, so when you come into town, you had better know where you are going. We did not, so spent some 15 minutes asking people where this place might be. Almost by chance, we found it in the dark and rain, with a note on the outside door with our name. The room was fine; we had a nice meal, and came back to find that the bar across the street was hosting a wedding reception with a live band playing rock music through midnight. Not the fault of the Rollando, but annoying none the less. We stayed two nights; the next day we found a note asking us to come and pay before 5 pm in a shop around the corner. We got there at 4:30, and she was gone. There was confusion on how to pay as well. In the end it turned out to be fine, but it could have been easier. I recommend the place, but know in advance where it is!!! Google maps is wrong!

Good location but steep stairs!”
We were expecting one room but it is like a small apartment. There is also another room locked within the apartment for staff. This was a problem because we had staff coming and going as they pleased without knocking or letting us know in advanced. Lack of privacy!!! You have to check in around the corner but the lady takes you to the 'hotel'. The stairs are narrow and steep making bringing luggage up difficult but lifts shouldn't be expected because the train station nor any other place in the Cinque Terre have lifts. Many restaurants around to choose from. The beach is small and not great so we travelled to monterosso. Otherwise rooms were clean. No available food so cannot comment on food.

Lovely apartment in the centre of town”
would highly recommend. staff were very helpful. hotel is an apartment a couple of minutes from the office but in the centre of town - 2 minutes to the water etc. close to the station. room was clean, comfortable. provided free wifi
