      Set in a 3-hectare park, Agriturismo Borgo Madonna degli Angeli - charming cottages in the gardens ! is a historic building of the 17th century. It is located outside Tocco Da Casauria, and features a large garden with an outdoor swimming pool and a sun terrace, overlooking the mountains. Madonna Degli Angeli is a family-run property. You will find farm animals in the park, including goats, donkeys and cats. The spacious, independent apartments come in a rustic style, with antique furniture and a cosy lounge with fireplace or wooden stove. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, complete with olive oil, sugar, coffee and a private garden or veranda with views of the garden or mountains. You have free parking on site, and discounts at a restaurant just 300 metres away. Pescara Airport and the beaches along the Adriatic coast are just 30 minutes' drive away. The Agriturismo is located in a valley between the Maiella and Gran Sasso National Parks. Staff can prepare custom-made itineraries for each.

      Fabulous stay - highly recommended! Say hi to the hosts and to Polpetta when you visit!”

      Great location and Lorenzo and Katarina are amazing - so many tales and tips to make the most of your stay. Polpetta (the dog) was also a favourite with all of us! The farm comes highly recommended! and their Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is lovely - buy some!

      The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning views of the national parks and mountains. The grounds and apartments are beautiful kept and has the addition of 2 lovely swimming pools. However the highlight of our stay was the animals free to walk around and greet you on a morning and throughout our stay. Our host was so helpful and very kind, in addition he makes fantastic organic red wine which you can buy, this has to be the best red wine I have ever tasted !!! The property is perfectly sited near the motor way and local amenities. However it cannot be seen or heard from the property. We would happily return.

      - The property’s location is wonderful, with animals, nature and a pool in the most peaceful environment. - Very nice host who welcomed us and gave valuable tips regarding trips, restaurants... - No restaurant at the property, but the host mentioned some nice and cheap restaurants in the area. There is also a takeaway 5 min away which sells amazing Italian food. We had dinner for €3 each.
      - Things to do in the neighbourhood can be quite far.

      Madonna is set in a very beautiful landscape. Nature, the animals, the pool, the old houses and of course the very sweet owners make this a very pleasant stay. We felt at home and we will be back!

      Stay longer, you will want to go back.”

      The self-contained apartment was on the ground floor and has a living room with kitchen, seperate bedroom and smaller bathroom. The entire complex was spread out and it was had to even tell there were other guests there. The location was sourounded by hills and mountians. The grounds were also home to a donkey, goats sheep, some cats and of course Polpetta the adorable Golden Retriever. We were able to by red, white and rose wine that was grown and made on site. Lorenzo provided us with very detailed itineraries of places to see in the impressive Abruzzo region. We wish we had stayed much longer.
      There was no breakfast, but not a big one as we were happy to get supplies from the local supermarkets to cover this.

      The place is perfectly located at the heart of the Abruzzo region which makes it a great place to start and end your days. It is also very well equipped for you to have a full day stay in the Agriturismo. Pool, table tennis, table football, and more. You can get umbrellas if you decide to go to the beach. The kitchens are well equipped with all the cutlery and cookware. All apartments are full netted so that no mosquitoes (quite a few in the region) can&#39;t get in. And of course you get the great company of the farm animals (sheep, goats, a donkey, cats) and the host is the best guide for the region you can get. He has over the years written down a guide of the region (in English and Italian) that will allow you to discover a few well hidden marvels of the region (food, historical monuments, places, beach, hikes, gorges, and a lot more). All the convenience stores ara quite close by car (5 min) an it is a very short drive from the highway Rome&#47;Pescara
      Not much. Just get ready for a few mosquitoes.

      Gastfreundschaft in herrlicher Natur”

      Wir haben den Aufenthalt im romantischen Türmchen sehr genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, wir haben tolle Wanderungen im Majella Nationalpark gemacht und hübsche kleine Ortschaften erkundet. Dabei haben uns unsere Gastgeber Lorenzo und Caterina mit unglaublicher Freundlichkeit, Enthusiasmus und Kenntnisreichtum unterstützt. Sie haben uns schon im Vorfeld mit Informationen versorgt und waren vor Ort immer ansprechbar und haben uns bei der Planung unserer Ausflüge geholfen und auch praktische Tipps (Restaurants...) gegeben. Das Agriturismo ist ein Ort der Erholung, wir haben uns immer gefreut, nach unseren Ausflügen zurück zu kommen. Auch die tierischen Mitbewohner, die immer mal vorbei geschaut haben (Ziegen, Schafe, Hühner, Esel... und natürlich Polpetta) werden wir sehr vermissen. Die Einrichtung des Türmchens ist nicht neu, man darf keinen Luxus erwarten. Aber wir fanden sie authentisch und vollkommen ausreichend! Wer allerdings nicht so mobil ist, sollte eher ein anderes Apartment in dieser Anlage buchen, es gibt eine steile Treppe ins Schlafzimmer. Wer eine herrliche Landschaft und überdurchschnittliche Gastfreundschaft mag, sollte unbedingt hier buchen!!
      4 Tage waren zu kurz, wir werden wiederkommen müssen ;-)

      Der engagierte Gastgeber Lorenzo, der sehr viel erzählen konnte und auch beraten konnte. Die phantasievolle Anlage, die sorgsame Pflege der Tiere auf dem Gelände und der Schutz der Ressourcen, sehr nachhaltig.
      Die Küchenausstattung ließ zu wünschen übrig.
