Alma Hotel”

I had a pleasant stay at Alma hotel in Alghero. It was by the beach and 15 min from the old town (with lots of restaurants, discos, and bars). The site is not particularly pretty but as I said the location is convenient and the price is fair for what it is. Internet access was a huge plus since I was there for a long time.

Excellent Hotel”

We enjoyed our recent stay in Alghero! The hotel was comfortable, clean and well located! Breakfast was brilliant especially the juicing machine. Staff were helpful and friendly! Parking was expensive so we opted for roadside parking, easily available! Would highly recommend this hotel excellent value for money! 🤩

Did the job ”

Nice hotel, very clean, staff were lovely and very helpful. I think we were unfortunate in terms of room location as our room looked over the car park so not much of a view but other than that the room itself and hotel were all very pleasant. Breakfast was the best of our trip by a long a way and had a lovely view. The hotel is a little out of town which wouldn’t be a problem at all on a nice day, we had some very cold mistral wind which made the walk a bit painful but again not a fault of the hotel just worth noting it’s not in the thick of things.

Expected a lot more from a 4-star hotel”

Pros: 1. Reasonably decent room size. 2. Pool, gym, game room. 3. Free decent wifi. 4. Powerful shower. 5. Memory foam beds. 6. Average breakfast, with some decent selections that change daily, though not much hot food for vegetarians. Cons: 1. The mosquitoes - me and my wife were bitten over 10 times each in our comfort room. 2. They charge for parking (15 euros a day) despite having lots of parking spaces in the hotel - fortunately there is a lot of free street parking on parallel roads. 3. They charge 3 euros to rent a pool towel, which I feel is ridiculous. A deposit is totally understandable, but to pay for a towel, which u have to return is sad. 4. Location - close to the beach on via lido, but at least 20 mins walk to the downtown area each way, where most of the shops and restaurants are.

Great Stay”

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was large, clean, modern and extremely comfortable. Bed was comfortable and it had a nice renovated bathroom. The rooftop pool is great with magnificent views of the beach. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. It was a bit of a walk into the old town however it is nice along the beach. We would go back given the opportunity.

We couldn't get a room with a sea view but were given an upgrade to a very spacious room. All staff were delightful and breakfast was excellent.

TYPICAL SEASIDE HOTEL”

A few minutes walk from the historic centre, set back from the sea front behind an apartment building. Spacious room with a private terrace. Adequately furnished, but the bathroom was in need of t.l.c., and could have been better designed; the shower cabinet was awkwardly shaped for getting in and out. There was no temperature stabiliser, so the water temperature changed when other people used hot water. Nice rooftop pool, but no shade or umbrellas.

The staff were amazing. Especially the young man at reception. It made our honeymoon extra special.

Great hotel a lovely walk into alghero Staff amazing & hotel very clean Only problem we had was hire car was fully electric & a lot of the charging points weren’t working we managed to phone hotel & they helped us locate one. Would 100% recommend this hotel

Nice hotel close to most things”

IT is a nice hotel, with really nice staff (Monica, LAura, Rosa & Federica amongst many). Close to the beach with parking area. Only difficult thing was to find the entrance for the drive in with the car. Good working air conditioning that doesn´t sound a lot and nice on suite bathroom. The continental breakfast is really nice also, including freshly made scrambled eggs, omeletts, bacon and lenses/beans and coffe of choice.

Chambre spacieuse et petit déjeuner de qualité! ”

Avons passé 2 nuits à l’Alma. Avons été chaleureusement accueillis et la chambre était propre et le mobilier comme neuf. Le petit déjeuner est particulièrement savoureux avec des produits frais (jus de fruits pressé à la demande, tout comme la préparation des œufs) et un super service du personnel. Attention toutefois aux personnes sensibles au bruit d’éviter la chambre 404 qui se trouve derrière la cuisine. Après la première nuit, nous avons alors demandé un changement de chambre et le personnel a répondu très favorablement à notre requête. :)

Kurzaufenthalt”

Das Hotel ist zwar komfortabel, aber hat für meine Begriffe keinen Flair. Alles wirkt sehr kühl, insbesondere das Schwimmbad ist irgendwie lieblos auf dem Dach gebaut. Wir haben uns nicht sehr wohlgefühlt.

Schönes modernes Hotel in zweiter Reihe zum Strand und in Nähe zum Hafen und der schönen Altstadt von Alghero. Der Outdoor-Pool und der Frühstücksraum mit Meerblick sowie das freundliche Hotelpersonal sind erwähnenswert

Un po' deluso ”

Che senso ha pagare una superiore se l'unica differenza da una camera normale è il terzo letto trasformato in divano? Le foto non rispecchiano la realtà.
