First of all thanks for fulfilling my simple request and thanks for the birthday cake Ms Jovana - GRM. Ur simple gesture means a lot. The location of the hotel is right across platinum mall. It was rainy season and they have available umbrellas for all their guest. Fantastic simple greeting and wishes from the Bell boy at the front of the hotel. Sorry didn’t get to know his name. Friendly staff over at the counter and guest relations. Hot shower shower. Only downside was the shower room was real small. But nevertheless, had a really good rest at ur hotel. Thanks for the 5 star accommodation and treatment. Will be back soon!

Hotels rarely leave a good impression on me, but this one ticked all the boxes. All the staff went beyond their roles, from helping me get a pram down a couple stairs, keeping aside a box of fruit loops for my daughter and many unexpected gestures. The buffet breakfast is the biggest I’ve seen and you’re spoilt for choices. The pool was a nice temperature and good for both babies and adults (there’s a baby pool). I’ve read others mention the pool was cold but I didn’t experience that at all. Our one bedroom corner suite was very spacious which is great when you have two children under 4yo. The hotel has a 7/11 next door and across the road. Platinum mall is also across the road, this is more of a wholesale market and not a shopping centre. There’s a covered walkway to get CentralWorld and some other buildings. The executive lounge breakfast isn’t as big as the main breakfast area but it’s much quieter. I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Memee and Patty were very friendly so a special shout-out to them.

I always try to stay here if I am in Bangkok. The location is central, so whatever you need, you can find it. Also, close to the major routes, so wherever you are going, it doesn't take so long, even in Bangkok traffic. The hotel has just been refurbished, so everything shiny & new. The breakfast buffet is a wonder to behold with an incredible selection of everything & can fill you up for the day, so make sure you book to include it. But the best thing is the staff. They always seem pleased to see every guest. Always happy to help & go that extra mile to help & always with a happy smile. They recognise repeat guest with a 'welcome back'. Any problem is always sorted out & if anything, over compensated. Quite simply, they make this the best hotel for me in Bangkok. Thank you for always looking after us. 😀

Great location and newly renovated”
We arrived in the hotel quite late in the night - around 11pm. The staff was prompt and friendly. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and got upgraded 2 tiers up. The rooms were clean and we could see, newly renovated. Very comfortable and located right beside Pratunam market and in front of Platinum Mall. Breakfast array was beautiful with many selections. I only had 3 hours to shop prior to my flight back home. And due to the convenient location, 3 hours was enough for me to fill my luggage with new fabulous clothes!

Great hospitality in such a good location. Stayed 4d3n and throughout, my friend and I experienced 5-star customer service from check-in (Jeans the receptionist) to our server, Tamal at Cascade Cafe who always ensured that our wine glasses were full and even spoke to a male customer about making us feel uncomfortable by sitting at our table for no apparent reason. Lastly, Navarat at concierge who helped to translate to our taxi drivers where we were going. Huge commendations for hiring such great hotel staff!

Completed another comfortable stay at this upper range property in Pratunam. Close to shopping and transportation, we enjoy the central location of this nice hotel. Staff were eager to help with any issue and were professional at all times. One rooms are newly refurbished with luxury furnishings and beautiful white marble bathrooms. Pool and other facilities are great for families. Will happily stay here again in the future.

After a Thailand vacation using 5 different mainly upper class hotels, I would give Amari Watergate following awards: Best breakfast, best shower, best air conditioner, best Internet. It's often the small things even the best hotels do wrong. Not so here: Often there are no charging facilities for your mobile devices reachable for two guests. In Amari WG we found two 220 V AC outlets plus 2 USB-A outlets conveniently reachable in the center between the two beds just above the center bedside table. Perfect! This table was even free to use, not blocked by a lamp or heaps of brochures. The air conditioner was surprisingly quiet and efficient, the temperature setting had really an effect. Often the ac is noisy and allows the choice between hot or cold only. The room felt cozy, comfortable and clean, not sprayed with any strange scent you find sometimes. Location is good, unfortunately not close to public transport (BTS) but also not very far from it.

Great location and breakfast spread”
I chose the hotel because of the location, review on the breakfast and the gym facilities. Luckily i was not disappointed. Location is right in front of platinum mall, have a great night market in front of the mall. The breakfast was superb. Have a few halal sections and the food is quite tasty. But maybe the staff at the egg counter can learn more how to make a perfect poached eggs. :). The gym equipments are new and complete which is very good for a hotel gym. The room is clean and the pillows are amongst the best. It’s just that because of the big hotel they did not pay attention to a small request on the surprise to my husband as we are celebrating our anniversary here. Other than that it was perfect.

Luxury hotel, good price, good location, great staff”
Stayed for 5days/4nights. Was upgraded to a newly renovated Premier Twin Room. Location was just opposite The Platinum Mall, beside Pratunam market and walking distance to Erawan shrine, Central Mal, Big C. There are many tailors on the 3rd floor in this hotel. Buffet breakfast spread was generous. Taxis and tutu are easily available just outside the hotel. Prices for metered taxi are much cheaper than tutu.

Location location and location. Walkable distance to all good food outlets, especially noticeably lung pratunam boat noodles and chicken rice! Platinum mall is right across the road and pratunam market right besife. Buy and carry back to hotel with ease. Awesome attitude by the staffs and gotten a free upgrade! This is our first time stay at Amari Watergate hotel. Awesome room we had as this Premium room is quite newly reno. Big enough for 2A/2C with two double bed. Too bad that there is no bathtub but the shower is good. They had tailor within the hotel, we love it. Platinum mall just right across and they have wonderful customer service. Definitely will come back and stay again.

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights, it was a pleasant experience. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast Spread was very good. It was just 2 min walking from Platinum mall, Pratnum Market and 1.5 km away from major mall like Siam square and MBK. They do have Indian breakfast options also in Buffet
