Its close to the station. This hotel is being run into the ground. Not sure if there has been any maintenance in the last forty years. Wallpaper had strips torn away. Carpets are ancient and dirty. There is damage above the windows where something was previously attached. bathroom tap actually had a hole in itand the tiled basin surround had been broken and reissued repaired. I am trying to imagine the scenario which led to the brown splashes sprayed over the ceiling. Another guests review finding a bedbug was enough to make me just leave and find somewhere else.

Our bed had a horrifying amount of bedbugs. As it was 2 in the morning, regrettably we didn't leave. The staff was nice, and moved us to another room. Unfortunately it also had bedbugs (a bit less this time but there's never a good amount of bedbugs). I would not recommend this hotel.

bargain hotel in good location”
This hotel is about 100 yards from the train station and a very short walk to the river and night bazzar, 5 minutes walk to Wat Yai (the big temple). It is an older hotel and the rooms look a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised to find everything was very clean. The hotel was a real bargain given the price included breakfast, which you might be glad of as there are precious few restuarants in Phitsanulok. I saw previous breakfast reviews were varied this is because if the hotel is busy they do a pathetic buffet if you are lucky enough to go when the hotel is quiet they cook the breakfasts individually and the quality is much better.

the amarin nakorn hotel i a bit dated and in some places shows it's age with wear that has not been kept up. however, the room was clean and functional and the staff was able to answer most questions i had. the dining room is pleasant and the food (breakfast)was good. it is located very close to the train station, daily market, night market and the nan river. all in all a good value.

The hotel shows its age but is very clean with rooms big enough. Its location in the center of Phitsanulok cannot be beaten. Very welcoming staff and big enough parling lot if you are on your own wheels.
