.First of all, let me start with the staff was amazing, my train to Portogruaru was canceled so i reached the area at midnight, the owner drove to pick me up since there were no taxis n'or buses in the area. very generous of him and her. .The design of the room is nice, some furniture are renovated that preserves the essence of the hotel and village, some other furniture are new like the bookshelf/headboard. .The breakfast, the owner was so nice to be there and made me coffee and prepare the silverware, food was more than enough.

.The parquet of the room was too loud and was squeaking, I suggest for the owners to change them to Vinyl parquet imitation to keep the essence of the design. .The door of my room was tight to open, maybe because of the parquet so it makes a thump whenever you open or close and it was low in height for the people who are taller than me (181 cm) take into consideration since its an old house. .Also, the lock of the bedroom door wasn't working. .The WiFi was weak in service, maybe because the router was far from my room. .Take into consideration that the toilet is accessible from the outside of the room, the shower tray doors did not have any rubber to reduce noise so they also made rattles when completely opening the doors. I do believe that this hotel has a potential but the technical issues should be solved first.

Characterful family-run B&B in lovely old street”

Fabulous location on an old street, close to the heart of the town. Beautiful room furnished with style. Very good breakfast. Lovely family run place, happy to advise and help. Secure cycle storage in the private garden area. There was no TV but that didn't bother us.

Only minor gripe was that the standard socket was 3 prong and wouldn't fit my adapter, though there was an extension lead in the communal room which was ok
