If you haven't been to Thailand before, you'll be intimidated by the location, but it's perfectly safe and the people who run it are great. You are on the waterfront and the rooms are clean and neat. Bring your own shampoo - there will not be any in the room. It comes with soap, towels and water. That's it. Glasses and ice are available from the staff. They rent Honda scooters for only $10 usd (300 baht). It will be the best $10 you spend. You need one to travel about and explore the island. We went everywhere and kept finding more new and exciting places. Again, the staff here were very nice and the place is clean.

Enjoyable stay, close to the beach, quiet area”
Check in was easy, room was clean, air con worked well, WiFi was fast and a good connection. They have a large menu of Thai food, recommended. Hotel is a few meters from the beach and some night clubs about 5 minutes walk. A good hotel to enjoy the local area, excellent value.

The rooms are clean. We had a hard time finding it. When you get to the power transformers (next to the Camera hotel) you are there. It's behind the power transformers and behind Captain Hooks. The people who run it are very kind. They rent scooters for reasonable rates - you need to rent one and explore the island.

Great place to stay at Koh larn”
Enjoyed nice night view of Pattaya city over the bay, sitting in common place at back side of this accomodation. Free pick up and drop from/ to nearby Pier, so great help to all guests who are coming from Pattaya. Availability of rented scooty from this property itself. Neerby food stalls for lunch & Dinner to avail, because they don't have resturant except basic breakfast & coffee. Behaviour of owner is great. Highly recommended for a budget stay at Koh larn with super cleaned room and very comfortable bed. Will try to come again.

Great find on Koh Larn”
I enjoyed my stay here for the price (650 baht), My only quibble would be that getting water from the common space at night was a bit of a hassle because the dog was barking and waking everyone up but other than that a very chill experience and nice big room.

We stayed at Baan Coconut for 2-nights recently. Had a very nice visit to Koh Larn. Was clean, simple, and quiet. Nice little water view also! Owners were very nice. We rented a motorbike near the ferry for 300 baht per-day. My Thai friend negotiated this, so don't pay much higher than this when visiting.

Big comfortable bed, clean room with plenty of space, high powered AC, nice porch to dry wet towels, hot shower with good water pressure, working wifi, good central location - not too far from pier and near maybe good restaurants. The owners don't speak much English but it's not necessary. They are extremely nice and provided a ride back to the pier - even driving me all the way to the boat and putting my bags on board which I greatly appreciated as I was traveling with a baby and dog! We have stayed here 3 times and enjoy it every time so this is our go to hotel for value and ease on Koh Larn. I highly recommend!
