Quaint and cosy place! ”

Cute place, very polite friendly staff”
Booked the superior suite, on arrival the front desk guy (long hair and sunglasses) mentioned there were 2 different rooms open and let us take a look at each to decide which we wanted, that was a nice touch. The hotel is split on 2 sides of the small walkway/alley, with the rooms near the waterfront side featuring the concrete walls and the rooms on the other side near the breakfast area with the white finish. My gf opted for the water side, the shower was large, water pressure good (although not steaming hot water, but warm enough for thailand). The bed was comfy, aircon cold (although our a/c unit was very loud). Wifi was slow, I used my phones 4G instead which was VERY fast on the island (TrueMove). Breakfast was simple but tasty. The 3 staff we met were all VERY polite and helpful. At this time they are building a soaking pool / jacuzzi type thing at the waterfront side which will be very nice when finished, but we were not disturbed by any construction noise.

The hotel stuff really unobtrusive. they do not clean our room and did not change bed-sheets all 4 night we stay there. On our second night in hotel my right cross shoe disappear (I left my cross-shoes outside, near the door). I was curios , who need only right shoe? One legged man or The hound of Koh Larn?

Good Value Nice View Private rooftop”
We, a family of 2 seniors, 8 adults, 1 teenager, 3 older and 1 younger children, have booked 6 rooms for our family trip over this weekend. Here are my feedbacks: To be improved: - The 4 rooms out of 6 were booked with extra bed and paid for through agoda. They were ready but with no extra futons until I had to request to add them at the time of check in. And I already was there after 14:00; plenty of time to prepare before that. - 1 of the 2 local staff at the resort was not very friendly and gave us a pouting look of everything we asked for. She definitely seemed to just want to make her jobs done and hope us not causing her much trouble. - One far right room with sea view was filled with flies!! and cigarette smell!! that I had to ask the 2 staff to spray and get rid of the flies. One told she could not do anything, the Chinese group could not understand or listen to her... finally, they couldn't help with the flies but did manage to spray the room; not very pleasant smell anyway when you could have noticed that and made sure the room had no cigarette smell an hour ago. To keep up with standard: - With the warm welcome phone call from the staff, we were able to check in the place without much hassle. - The owner, old lady, seemed kind. She welcomed us very well at her shop before sending all of us on tuktuk to the resort which was 350m. away. - Another staff who told us she recently started her job there, was sweet and tried to help out very well. At least she smiled and showed her interest in us coming :) - Breakfast was served okay - with expected standard food. (Again though, the pouting staff was there and not very friendly.) - Nice seaview; since we didn't expect the privacy we would get. 6 rooms were lining next to each other and we were allowed to use the rooftop for our seafood dinner. It was nice; except the very hungry family black cats which scared me away! :$ Overall, it was ok. The price was charged for modern looking rooms which was accepted

Very good place to stay”
Everything was fine except the TV had no channels that I as an westerner was interested in, there is not much else to do in the evening but to watch TV in Koh Larn. I would stay there again.

Here are good view and service by owner”
Good view and design in hotel and convinience for journey to anywhere in island. Especially for owner have been take care and service and introduce for any info for travels in island. Anyway breakfast is so good eventhrough normal foods but they can made to dilicious. Otherwise , the owner have a good relation for clients also you shoule be got impression here also.

good for a big group to fit 6 sea-view rooms”
The resort got a roof top area and allowed us to use it privately as we booked all the 6 sea-view rooms which were very nice. The staff was all fine except one lady who wasn't really welcoming. Rooms were okay; had to put the extra sheets myself but it was okay for that price. The owner, an old healthy lady, was nice but only stayed by her shop opposite 7/11; 350 metres away.

Clean resort near the pier”
The room is well maintained and probably a new extension to the existing resort. U will probably encounter some language barrier if the owner is not in town. Breakfast is a simple fare with toasts and fried eggs. Overall a good place to stay.

Nice people, abit of a language barrier but eventually got there! Clean rooms. Good air con. Best beach (tawaen) only a 2 min walk to taxi that takes you there as no real beach here

I stayed at old part of hotel, which is reasonable price but it is tiny and un designed. I recommend choosing newer part of hotel which has white and wooden design. The location is nice you can go to hidden north beach by motorcycle.

They picked us up at the pier at no extra cost and arranged motorbike rental. The restaurant next door had cheap but good thai food. The breakfast wad ok. Overall pleased.

Tricky - We refund the money and change to another hotel”
We really want to take a rest here in Valentine 2016. Change from 13-14 to 14-15 cause sea view room not available (we book this room on 12 Jan). After we arrive Koh Ran we walk to motorcycle shop between 7-11 (staff asking us to pick up there). The middle age lady say we have to change the room cuz that room "air condition is out of order" and they return 200 baht for change to another room (not sea view). We arrive to hotel asking hotel staff about "air condition" they said "NO is still working!" so I asking them to open the room for checking. Yes, that working! I call back to the middle age lady she still confirm for that. My girlfriend asking for refund she don't want to leave here anymore we've hot and angry. Waiting for a while young lady drive motorcycle to give money back for us and didn't miss a word.... "Other foreigner take this room also". So why we have to move out????
