Great accommodation”

We spend 3 nights at Ban Kiangnam Hotel. This was surprisingly specious, modern and well kept accommodation. We had big bedroom and big bathroom. The furniture where modern. TV had only Thai channels. There was no internet. Each morning we were offered coffee and cake. The owners were very nice. Very good location. Excellent value for money and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice and Quiet at very reasonable price”

Perfect for just rest at night and use it as a rest stop when visiting Khong Jiam because the price is very reasonable and location is right in the middle of Khong Jiam. Do not expect too much... as I mention... it is a perfect place if you are looking for a place to sleep at a reasonable price.

Very small but not quaint - just barely adequate”

Got to the hotel in the afternoon. The manager did not have us coming in until the 4th, even though our reservation confirmation explicitly stated, 3 August, 1 night. So I am not sure we got a room that we requested or were given what was left, the hotel was quite full. The room was barely big enough for a bed. We had to hang clothes on the towel rack. Yes there was satellite TV (the free Thai type), a/c, hot water in shower and wifi. There was no chair so we had to sit on the bed, and there was one very small table. The shower, toilet, sink combination was very small. You almost had to put one foot on the toilet to have adequate room. The positive thing, it was situated very close to the good river-food resturants, which served seafood from the Mekong River! Everything was very tasty. Oh yes, parking was very limited with it being only one way so it was difficult to turn around to exit.

My room is a twin room in a separated cottage. The room is clean. There is also free coffee in the morning. We can walk to see Mekhong from the hotel. The convenience store is also not far from the hotel as the hotel is in the disctrict center.

Even if the room was tiny and the walls need be paint, I want give a good review for the so warm, close and charming treatment of the owner, that made us feel as members of her family

lovely hotel with small rooms”

If it had not been for the very noisy music emanating from the neighbour our stay would have been a perfect one. It will only take a short walk to enjoy the beautiful view of the Moon river and the numerous seafood restaurants there.

Good enough for a good nice sleep”

Clean, convenient. But no wi-Fi. After 8-9 p.m. can't find any one around to ask for things.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!”

This hotel is 80km farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr away from city center. And it was the only choice left on Agoda since we went to Ubon during candle festival and other hotels were fully booked. We have booked and paid with credit card. After arriving there in the evening, the staff said that they had no room for us. They don't even know how to use Agoda, do they? We drove longggggggggg way from Bangkok taking 15 HOURS to go there. Imagine how awful it was to hear "We do not have any room available" after longggggggggggg driving. This is the worst experience ever!! SURELY, WE WON'T GO BACK AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Petit hôtel de charme, sympathique pour y passer une nuit ou deux. Chambre en bungalow de style un petit peu vieillot. Personnel très très sympathique. A quelques minutes à pied de restaurants de quartier et de petites supérettes.

Deuxieme sejour dans ce resort situe a 100 m du mekong et a 10mn a pied du narche. La patronne est une vieille dame charmante et attentionnee. Les chambres sont correctes pour le prix.

Chambre plaisante, au calme et propre et bien équipée. La propriétaire n était pas la à notre arrivée, et avons étés reçus par quelqu' un qui ne comprenait pas du tout l anglais et pas non plus le langage des gestes...

Très bon accueil. Chambre spacieuse. Il manque dans cette ville un centre d' information pour orienter les touristes (bus, accès au parc national notamment).

Séjour de 2 nuits très agréable dans une petite chambre bien tenue. Je pensais que les bungalows donnaient sur le Mékong mais en fait ils sont à 50 m. Excellent accueil, pas de petit déjeuner officiellement mais le café et les toasts sont à volonté. les chambres sont basiques mais propres et cela est compensé par l'accueil de la patronne. plusieurs restaurants en bord du fleuve et d'autres dans le village servent de très bon repas pour une somme modique. adresse à recommander

Petit hotel dans Khong Jiam”

Petit hôtel sans prétention, sans réel charme mais pas non plus déplaisant, celui ci est dans la rue "principale" donnant sur le seul 7/11 et supérette du coin, comme Khong Jiam est petit c'est aussi proche de la rivière si jamais vous voulez faire du bateau dans le coin et simplement vous détendre comme les nombreux Thais qui viennent y pique niquer. La chambre qu'on avait était plutôt petite est proche de la rue mais il y avait apparemment d'autres meilleures plus en retrait de la rue (qui est certes petite donc pas vraiment de passages de voitures)
