Nice place near Mekong”
We liked the place. Good place for trips around. We had tuktuk driver, who took us to national park Pha taem and Kaeng Tana. Big relax, night market, the bank, shops.

Happy with our choice for an overnight stay”
Pretty much as described on the Agoda site. The guesthouse was in line with our expectations for an overnight stay. Everything was fine with the exception of the lack of hot water when showering. It was not too big a problem for one night; actually kind of reinvigorating in the morning! :-) Kettle available on the ground floor.

Nothing fancy, good price, helpful staff”
One of the few places available in Khong Chiam via Agoda. There are many more hotels/bungalows however, which I only found out when going around (motor bike rent at Baan Steak). Price is quite cheap (more expensive via Agoda). Rooms are not cleaned daily. (TIP: Try to memorize a few words/sentences in Thai to make your stay more enjoyable. Especially w.r.t. your food preferences)

Comfortable room bed a bit on the hard side for me. Free coffee in the lounge area. A couple of reasonable restaurants, mini Big C, Tescos, 7-11 within a five minute walk.Ten minute walk to Wat Tham Khoo Ha if you fancy the walk up the stairs. Recommended.

nice and very peaceful place, feel like staying at home. the owner was very kind. not far from the floating restaurants nearby Khong river. you can walk around to see the communities but not recommend to walk in the night it's quite dark better to travel there by car.

Good place for a night or three”
About half the 28 sq m size advertised . No fridge but can use the common one. Wifi was good and bed a bedding were comfortable. Only a small table. A couple hundred meters to Tesco Express and 7-Eleven. Also an easy walk to the river, and morning and night markets.

Only if you're desperate”
We were travelling without advance bookings and were caught out by New Year revellers, with all the best rooms taken. This choice was in desperation for somewhere to sleep for the night, otherwise we would have walked away. I would give an award to the photographer for the picture of the hotel, and the manager was helpful and pleasant. The room was reasonably clean and the bed was OK, linen was OK, otherwise it had no other redeeming features. For 160 Baht more we had a 3.5 star hotel in the centre of the capital city Bangkok, with full buffet breakfast included, hence the awful value for money rating. We were not inspired when presented with the room door covered in dirt - how hard is it to run a wet cloth over it...

It's like a cheap motel with very thin wall. Real hotel doesn't look so good as the pictures. Maybe it got photoshoped? Disappointed.

The room is spacious and clean, and the owner is so friendly and relaxed. This is a great place to stay in Khong Chiam if you plan to go to the national parks.
