The common area had nice view of the water. The host was very nice until we asked for a refund due the stairs issue described below.

Don’t stay here if you have any mobility issues, or if you don’t like walking up and down 37 very steep steps (many of which are 12 inches high), every time you leave and return. (See photo). There is a “chairlift,” but it is extremely slow and inconvenient to use. There is a reference the stairs and chairlift in the property description, but it’s not on the main page, so it is easy to miss. Because of our age and mobility issues, we decided to check out two days early. The host refused to give us a refund. Additional issues: The room was so small, we could barely walk around the bed, so we had to sit in the common room with other guests. There was no bidet, only a hose attached to the wall (see picture). The breakfast was horrible: Muesli, yogurt and packaged dry toast. The parking lot was a 10 minute walk. We visited during the first week of November and very few restaurants were open.

The location was wonderful. l slept to the sounds of the sea!

The location was perfect, right by the city beach and old town. We could walk anywhere. The room was as promised and clean. Kind and well-meaning hosts.

The breakfast was very limited and not fresh. Only dry and packed bread. During our stay the aircondition was broken, and we were not informed, nor got an alternative (we asked for a fan). The communication with the hosts was difficult because of bad english. We were asked to contact them via text message, but when we did we got a very late answer or none at all.

Small B&B on the harbour front in beautiful Vieste. We had the apartment on the top floor, which has a terrace with great sea views. The room is very spacious, the beds comfortable, and there is a separate sitting area. Breakfast is simple but very cheap. Owners were very nice and helpful.

The stairs are very steep, and have very high steps, so climbing to our apartment was a bit cumbersome (for heavy luggage, there is a chair-lift).

Responsive host that went above and beyond to help us out. Beautiful property and spotlessly clean. Comfy bed and good quality AC. Hot water and water pressure also good. Location is prime for those that wish to be in the midst of the action.

These are more just important info vs negatives. Being in such a good location means two things: some of the street noise can be heard later at night but it’s not terrible. The street alongside the building is closed to all cars after 8pm so as long as you arrive before that you can park right there. Otherwise it’s a short walk to parking near the port.
