Peace and tranquility”
Well it was very peaceful and tranquil during our two night stay but obviously bookings are currently very low due to covid. Lovely little resort on the banks of Mun River. We had a "Modern Cottage" which was clean comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed other than a cupboard or wardrobe to put our clothes away. There was an open rail to hang clothes which wasn't an issue, it's just my "O.C.D." I like everything put away neat and tidy! We only used the restaurant one night but wish we'd used it for both. The food was excellent and great value for money and the service was friendly and efficient. Lots of interesting places to visit reasonably locally. Wish we had stayed longer but now have a good reason to visit again. All in all, a great place to stay to relax or to explore from.

Great place to stay and make your way in the morning to watch the sunrise first hit Thailand on the Mekong river. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious - we stayed in the cabins, not the containers. Well worthwhile and would return.

Good if you are looking for a quiet getaway”
The hotel is located on a river shore. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean the hotel facilities are beautiful. Swimming pool looked a bit deserted but that might just be due to the current situation. They also have a good restaurant, perfect for a romantic dinner. The location, though, is not too close to anything noteworthy. So, if you want to do some sightseeing or shopping, you are going to need a driver or a taxi.

Peaceful ”
Great location on the river, not far from Ubon Ratchathani, rooms comfortable and clean, staff friendly and helpful, perfect location to watch the sunset on the river with the table and chairs out on the river. The chef cooks amazing Thai food, a must try his his chicken wings, cooked salty, red wine or honey/fish sauce, the hotel has good wifi throughout the facilities, be back soon for some more peace and quiet.

we were greeted very friendly when arrived. There was almost no one else there besides our group so it was nice and quiet except for at night the frogs outside were quite noisy but we slept well. I love the dock lounge on the river in the morning.

Bluemoon Riverside Resort Ubon Ratchathani”
Remote location. Small Hotel with 12 rooms and some freight container rooms, never seen that before in Thailand. Often booked up as not many hotels in the area, and has a small but adequate swimming pool. Had one of the cheaper rooms near reception. Very large bathroom with TV, no walk in shower,had to sit in the bath tub and shower, could have done with a shower curtain, as water was going everywhere. Never seen a hotel with so many things in the room, hair straighters, hair dryer, filter coffee machine. Loads of ornaments, looked very nice, but couldn't put anything down on a surface, had to move a flower pot or ornament. The aircon needed recharging as it was blowing warm air, not bad because it was November, in April I would have said something. Used the resturant for 1 night, lovely food, but could have done with more staff, 1 dish came out every 10 mins, so I had finshed and my partners hadn't even arrived. Overall I would stay again.

Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Staff were helpful (one of them, the rest struggled with English, not speaking any). Prices on agoda were nearly fifty percent less than walk in rates. Good menu selection. Ok American breakfast.

A 3-star Thai style resort in the middle of no where”
This hotel is mid way between Amphoe Phibun Mangsaharn and Amphoe Khong Chiam. It is sort of in the middle of nowhere. We chose it because it is relatively close to our friends' homes in a nearby village. So it suits our purpose well. While its location may be a bit isolated, one nice thing about it is that it is right next to the Mun River - the atmosphere there in the morning and evening is just amazing, so tranquil! The hotel is only in operation for two plus years, so the decoration is quite up-to-date. However, the workmanship in the construction and the upkeeping can be better. There are cracks on the walls and stains around the bath tub and toilet. But these are things I can tolerate. The only complaint I have is the breakfast. It cost 150 per head and they gave you imitated bacon. Only the sausages were eatable. This is one thing the management should really pay some attention to. Anyway, I probably will come back again when I visit my friends next time.

The staff were nice and polite, the room was clean ( too many flower ornaments.. there was no space to put things on the tables or desk though). However, they didn't have bicycle for rent, no boats, no Yoga room, which were the reasons why we had chosen this hotel. There was nothing for kids to enjoy during the stay except the swimming pool. The information on AGODA site should be corrected.

It's located closed to Mun River. You can see sun rise at riverside in the morning. Really good place but it's far from city for 1 and half hours. You need to drive, no any public transportation.

Excellent resort, the best value for your buck in the area. Brother of the owner is cooking tasty food. Very soon guests will be able to rent canoes to enjoy Moon River. As in title resort is very well managed, I am hospitality professional and I was very impressed with level of the service in Blue Moon.

The hotel room is large, nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The shower has no place to put shampoo/conditioner. It'd be nice to have more hooks or rails. Also, it'd be nice to have hot water in the shower. The complimentary OTOP snack in the room is very tasty - added a nice touch. In general, a very nice place to stay, next to the Mun river.
