A good place to stay!”
Room - It was better than i expected, but would be better if they provided the plug next to every bed so we can charge while using it. Facilities - I got what i needed :) Breakfast - Basic breakfast like bread & butter, tea, coffee.. who doesnt like free breakfast? ;D Bar - amazingly cheap! Plus i got 1 free shot of tuak from Shida, the owner , and i love it! Common area - they have pool table, darts and also a reading area. Staffs - Sweet, friendly, and treat you like a friend. I booked for 2 nights but I stayed only for 1 nite (too bad) just because I went to different part of Sarawak unplanned and stayed in the hotel nearby as it was already dark and i was alone to drive back to the city. Funny part was, I forgot that I supposed to check out on the next day but i totally forgot until around 3pm and i quickly gv Ben a call, and he was like okay and told me no need to rush. Thanks Ben! Anyway, its a good cheap place to stay in Kuching, worth every penny!

Exceptional”
Very nice hostel! Friendly and helpful staff, social vibe and a nice communal area with a Tv-room, pingpong table and pool table. Dorms are basic but clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast consisting of toast, jam, tea and coffee is included. We stayed overnight in Bako national park and we were able to store our luggage in the reception while we were away, free off charge. Would definitely recommend!

Book female dorm room, it was comfortable & clean. Communal space is also a bar I think, but it was very chill & there is also few quiet corners if you feel you want to have your own time. Staff is very friendly & helpful. There is 7E nearby. Would stay here again if come to Kuching!

Located at the town center and surrounded with restaurants. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The most important thing is the guesthouse is very clean and worth for money. Will book again on next trip.

i really like it here, i cant explain why i love it here. its really chill and all but i just dont like how tired it is to go up the stairs and how far is the toilet (cs im always at the top floor). nights at our floor is really quiet and creepy for me sometimes but thts okay cs im a scaredy-cat so its fine. but its really good so far, i really liked it here. ive been here quite often so obviously i love it here :) love the staffs too, very friendly <3

Why allow smoking in the common room?”
We read good reviews for this place and were excited to join a social hostel. Unfortunately it was pretty dead, dim, dingy and for some reason they have a smoking area inside the main room next to the kitchen. The smell of smoke goes through the whole hostel, up to the rooms. This hostel might have been good once, but not now.

The worst place”
The photos do not correspond to reality. The hostel is dirty, the sheets had stains, better not to talk about the bathroom ... I had booked two nights and only slept one because the hostel looks like the house of terror. The next morning I said that I didn't want to spend a second night there because the hostel was very dirty, my bed dirty and with hair. Obviously I asked for the money from my second night, they told me that they understood it and that it will happen to me in two days for the money. Days went by and they told me that the cancellation policy does not allow us to return the money. So I lost the money and had a bad experience. I do not recommend it, Kuxhing is a beautiful city with cheap accommodations and excellent staff. Pay attention to this review before booking, I am not a delicate person, much less. And I've never left a bad comment to anyone, but I can't say less.

I had a very bad experience, the hostel is not like in the photos. I booked two nights and only slept one because the next day I went to a cleaner place. I asked for the money back and they have not returned it to me. I do not recommend it, kuching is a beautiful city with lots of cheap accommodation and good people. Very bad experience
