Find Bungalows in Dalat, Vietnam

I'd strongly recommend doing an Easy Riders (or one of their competitor's) ride. It's a great way to get out into the countryside and see all the beautiful waterfalls (Pangour Falls is hands-down the best one out there!) and farms. I enjoyed Thac Pangour so much I even rented a bike to drive back to it with some new friends from the hostel. The flower garden next to the lake is tremendous, well worth a day of reading and enjoying the different areas of the gardens. Don't miss the rose garden up top to your right when you enter! The night market is a blast to hang out around, although make sure you're ready to haggle for anything that catches your eye! If you pay about half of what they originally ask you aren't doing too badly, if you get it to 1/3rd you're a bonafide haggling guru! Definitely check out the Crazy House and 100 Roofs Bar if you're into fantastical architecture. Also, strikingly, the best coffee I had in 11 days spent here was at the tiny little Crazy House cafe! Both places are spots where you're going to want to keep a close eye on the kids! Relaxed building standards means awesome art, but precarious situations for those with less motor control. Generally the cool air is a welcome change from most of the warm/hot country of Vietnam. However, make sure you're ready for it to get downright cold in the winter! Luckily plenty of vendors are on hand to sell you jackets, toques, caps, mittens, etc. It's a excellent city to walk! We walked from the city center to the Truc Lam pagoda, then took the cable cars back. An excellent afternoon of travel. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this gem of a town.

It has a rich sight seeing with a lot of waterfalls, old churches and temples. For those who enjoy staying outside you can go trekking through the mountain. You can also rent a double bicycle to do a tour around the city and the Xuan Huong Lake. Recommending for couple as well as those who want to chill down from all the heat around Vietnam. Best visited time is in dry season so you can do much more outside as it will be the main activities you will do once you visited here.

The air is cool and clean, and the city is genial in appearance. Like all cities in Vietnam, however, the people who you find in Dalat are not to be trusted; many are rude, and many are very dedicated to scamming tourists. So long as you keep this in mind, your stay in Dalat will be pleasant and refreshing.

Dalat is also one of the cheapest place around the region for canyoning.

Golf Club is excellent. Other than that, really nothing much in Dalat.

most attraction are reachable within walking distance and sight seeing maximum 15 minutes by car.

It's quite cool in early morning and evening. You don't need AC to sleep at night. We took a Futa bus from Nha Trang to Da Lat (just more than 3 hours), the winding road was amazingly beautiful. We did two tours while in Da Lat but extremely enjoyed the tour to Langbiang mountain (a jeep will take you to the top and back to the car park) and Cu Lan village (where you can experience US-styled jeep to cross rough terrain, really worth doing but not suitable for small children). If you want to enjoy fresh veggie and beautiful nature without getting much sweaty, Da Lat is definitely for you.

Very clean and very friendly. The scenery to Da Lat is unbelievable coming to/from Nha Trang. Very winding and mountainous. Make sure to take a private tour or van that will stop if you want pics. We were on a bus and had to take pics from the windows. Overall, the city is rather cool weather wise being nestled in the mountains. Actually kind of a romantic place. They have a big market as well but I was unfortunately not able to go visit.

They seem to cater more to local tourists rather than foreigners. A lot of the taxi drivers and business owners could not speak English, so it may be good to be patient rather than being frustrated by the experience. One good place to visit is the Elephant Waterfall, which is situated away from the city. It takes more than 30 minutes to get there. While it is lesser known that the Datanla Waterfall, the sight was great and the experience is recommended.

A lot of sight seeing to do, and good local area food to be eaten.

Wasn't much shopping to do but they do have a nice variety of fresh fruits. Visited parks and gardens while I was there and it was really nice.

Theres a lot of good produce around. enjoy the flowers too.

Coffee is really good, too.

Visit the countryside if you love nature, places like cricket farm, coffee plantations, flowers and vegetable farms, Linh Phuoc Pagoda and many more.

But not worth staying more than 2 days unless you really want to relax and chill in a cooling part of Southern Vietnam.

The city is dotted with French Villas that were used to be the French colonialists' holiday homes. Very romantic city and known as Le Petit Paris. Although it may border on the cheesy side, this is truly a romantic and gorgeous city. You can get some great fresh air compared to the hustle and bustle of Saigon. Would definitely recommend doing the 'Secret Tour' run by the Pink Hilla Hotel over an Easy Rider tour.

Lots of people offering lots of tours, but be adventurous, take the public bus to elephant falls, and meet some real people

We found a really nice little restaurant near our hotel (Tulip 2 Hotel) called Nam Son. The food was freshly prepared, and served steaming hot from the kitchen. IF you are into gardening, don't miss coming here. There are over 250 acres of farmland under poly greenhouses. This area produces the greatest amount of vegetables, flowers, coffee and tea in the Vietnam area.

Overall very romantic city!! but it is cold during rainy time. Explore for hidden cafe on hills!
