Wonderful Villa, a bit isolated”
Villa B2 - Really nice villa built into the rocks on the end of Cape Shark. Well furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, the rocks form a part of the walls and stairs in some places which is a fantastic effect. The large private terrace has a pool, good barbecue, everywhere has stunning views of Shark Bay. You can walk down some steps to the sea, there's a nice snorkeling spot and, yes, we did see sharks - some black tip reef sharks early on a couple of the mornings we were there, not dangerous but very nice to see. Also a turtle on one morning. There's no beach, restaurant or bar on the site but they give you a phone and there's a range of restaurants with menus in the villa that will deliver. There's also a free shuttle service by truck to get you to some of the more populated spots on the island or a private taxi you can order any time. My tip - bring a cooler with some steaks and burgers to make full use of that lovely barbecue on the terrace.

Beautiful views, very clean and a first class quality house ”
The owner and his staff are very friendly. The houses are well above the normal quality in Thailand. The plunge pool is nice and relaxing with beautiful view on the sean and Shark bay. Snorkling is possible straight down the resort. There's a lot of fish to see. Very nice is the option to order from restaurants that bring diner to the house. We will come back if we visit Thailand again!

Breathtaking view, amazing staff who will go the extra mile to make sure your wishes are granted (they beautifully decorated the villa for us for a perfect birthday dinner), comfortable bed, clean air, pristine water. The pool is a godsend given the climate and the sunset view. There is really nothing one can complain about here. We highly look forward to staying again!

Spectacular setting, complete comfort”
The villas are perched on the hillside with great views and refreshing breezes. Our villa, C1, is beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is very fully equipped. The pool and outdoor areas are comfortable, private, and spacious. The staff are all pleasant and very helpful.

Great if you can ride a motorcycle well”
We got this villa for 3000b/night which is under half what I would expect to pay. It’s not 5 star, and its very basic quality but clean and well run. If you can’t ride a motorcycle don’t stay here, its a life risk using the extremely steep and winding driveway (I’m a good rider and found it challenging). The local taxi drivers enforce pricing of 400b for even short trips (an egregious scam) so getting places by taxi is tiresome when you get ripped off every time you go somewhere. That being said Koh Tao is lovely, nicest island in Thailand for me. Beaches and scenery are incomparable. Food is surprisingly good for an off the beaten track island. Probably if I stayed again I’d stay at a place with easier access, but still I can recommend the resort for what it is.

The villa's location is super private and away from crowd. At noon, you can snorkeling just in front of the villa and food is also delivered to your room very easily. At night, you are among the moon and star...... so romantic and the villa is well-equipped that you can cook breakfast&dinner and have some date meal together <3 you won't regret taking some time off here!!!!!!!

Stayed in probably the best villa there in C5C. The sea is just right in outside the doorstep, just like a private sea for me and my wife. Getting to the villa from the pier is smooth, the staff will be waiting at the pier with a card, follow them and you'll be at the reception in around 10mins time. Getting to C5C from the reception is not for people with walking issues and there are very very steep slopes and flights of stairs which can be very stressful to the knees. You can ask the staff to arrange for bike rental but I think it's price is a bit of the high side. At least the rental comes with insurance so minus the worry of being caught up in some claim frauds. If you're new to riding a bike, I don't recommend you renting one as everytime i want to get to town, it's always a nerve wrecking journey with more steep slopes along the way. The villa itself is pretty self sufficient with drink, beers, wine, cup noodles and cooking utensils. Strangely enough, there's a sauna room in the villa which I used it to put my luggages. Talking about luggage, try to go lite if possible. Anyway, met the owner, Elizabeth when checking out and enjoyed chatting with her and wish I could be also enjoying life like her.

We love everything here ! Even though there was no hotel restaurant, they provide many restaurant options with menu for us to choose from. Also, 7-11 store where we can order to our room. The room has spectacular view and a small kitchen. We definitely will come back for this resort.

Best place I’ve ever been to. Sunset was absolutely amazing. Villas was immaculate and views were absolutely stunning. Was able to order food and beverage from a number of restaurants across the island with ease. Only regret is that I didn’t stay long enough! Will definitely be returning. Can not wait!

Favorite hotel in Koh Tao”
We visited Cape shark villas for the 2nd time to celebrate our anniversary. We love the fantastic view and the ability to be alone and order up food to the room. Only negative thing was that it was sometimes hard to reach reception by phone or email. We love this place and will come back again in the future!

A nice pool villa with lovely pool and beautiful view but.....”
We stayed night there at C23C. The villa looked really nice with own pool and wonderful sea view but there was a construction works to the left of our villa and it was soooo loud from 8 to 17 and it made us feel uncomfortable staying or using the pool when there re alot of people around. Moreover, We have had a disrespectful neightbor that lived backside our villa. They were screaming, shouting and laughing so loud untill 11pm at night I was totally disappointed because it wasnt feel relax and private as i expected. However I really liked the decoretions of the villa, the view was wonderful and all staffs were so friendly with great service minded.
