Amazing week! ”
I stayed one week at Chala 6. I can’t say enough about this hotel. The service was 5 Star. The room was extremely clean. This was my 4th five star hotel in Thailand this trip. Best soap, cleanest hotel, best bidet, best staff. The poor reviews about the breakfast, seem a little unfair to me. On days where they didn’t have the buffet, I could order whatever I wanted. The days where the buffet was active, I was able to find high quality options and they accommodated me with requests. Now, I am an early riser so maybe on certain mornings the Buffett gets picked thru. The pool was the best pool I’ve experienced this trip as well. I love salt water pools, this pool was shaded well and actually cool. Very clean considering all the trees. Service at the bar was great, afternoon tea and happy hour were a daily routine for the hot afternoons in Chiang Mai. The reviews about morning noise are accurate. My room was at the street, I didn’t hear traffic noise, but I heard the microphone from the school most mornings. Including the weekend, they had boys and girls scouts on the weekend. Non of this bothered me, because I’m an early riser. I enjoyed walking in the am. If you are a late riser, I highly recommend you let the staff know at check-in.

A location that can't be beat (in the middle of the Sunday Night Market)!”
Location: It's hard to beat this location. It is quiet and peaceful inside the hotel, but you walk right out onto the streets of Chiang Mai. We were especially surprised to find that the hotel sits in the middle of the Sunday Night Market, which was very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance of 382963483 restaurants and right across the street from Wat Chedi Luang. Room details: We asked in advance for a room on the second floor to avoid mosquitos and one that didnt face the school to avoid noise. The hotel will provide you with mosquito traps if you ask! Food: Every morning breakfast there was a buffet of regional dishes, and they were different each morning. Tea time has different snacks every day. We didnt assume we would want to be at the hotel for breakfast or tea time, but it was so amazing we made sure to come back each day! Staff was very friendly. They offered to let us leave our bags there until later in the day after we checked out without us having to ask.

Perfect hotel in the middle of everything ”
My husband and I really enjoyed Chala Number 6! It’s a new, clean, and nice facility. Location is perfect! We were able to walk to a ton of things. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff is so welcoming and helpful. It is right next to a school so we heard children every morning; but that wasn’t a con for us because we wanted to get up early and get our day going. Would definitely stay there again when we make it back to Chiang Mai.

Staffs, Location, and just hotel itself ”
Staffs were really helpful and made our trip a lot more hospitality. Thank you so much for everyone kindness. Location is the prime. We enjoyed the view of the Jedi Luang, the biggest temple in the old city. There was the walking night market in front of the hotel on Sunday. We just loved it. We just walked and explored the old city right off the hotel doors. The hotel facilities are amazing. We planed to do the outside stuffs for the whole trip but then we just had to spend the 1 whole day in the hotel. The pool is wonderful, the thai house in the middle of the hotel is amazing. I felt like i was the king of Chiang Mai. Just above and beyond

Nice Location”
The hotel is located in a very convenience spot and it is just right inside the Sunday Market. It is also not too far from Saturday market, walking to Saturday market will take around 10 mins only. Hotel is pretty new, clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. It will be much more better if they can change breakfast styles every day. Otherwise, it is all good of this hotel.

Great hotel with Superb staff ”
The hotel is absolutely amazing and the staff are really great. All staff is very friendly and helpful throughout our stays. We really like to thank one of the staff who is called David. He had helped us in so many ways. He is so trustworthy, and whenever we need help or assistance, David would definitely be the one we want to seek for advise. He is very proactive, speak good Chinese. Gave us good suggestions and recommendations during our stay. Very polite and friendly!!!! Hotel is located inside the old city. Great location. And the Sunday night market is just outside the hotel!!! so many stuffs to see and walk during our stay. There are also SPA and restaurant around the hotel. A big temple is just opposite us as well. Rooms are nice and very clean. They refill the free snacks and free drinks everyday! However, there is a bit too little room for the wardrobe though. The breakfast is good too. We will definitely to people who are going to come to Chiang Mai

Relaxing in excellent location with friendly staff”
Staff very extremely friendly and seemed well trained. The room was pleasant and good size. The breakfast was also good standard. Every morning slightly different. The only area of improvement us the bathrooms need more counter top space. Otherwise was perfect for us and we will be coming in back.

Loved the location and the property ”
The Spa room was great after touring around the Chaing Mai old town and countryside. The bed was large and very comfortable! (The auto toilet is a nice touch). Breakfast simple, healthy and delicious. They make good drinks at the poolside bar. Overall was just a great relaxing stay. You will not be disappointed.

Possibly the best hotel staff in Chiang Mai!”
My wife and I stayed recently for three nights. We have been to Chiang Mai upwards of 20+ times over the years as we live in Thailand. The perfect sized pool is given a very creative setting of a traditional Thai house and sticky rice field brings a real oasis element to the resort. The rooms are spotless. As are the grounds. Given the amount of greenery and trees this must be a colossal effort to maintain and full compliments to the gardeners and housekeeping who kept the place absolute clean. The hotel is very well located right outside the weekend market an in the centre of the old town. There are lots of bars, restaurants massage places and artisinal shops with a few steps. If I would suggest the breakfast needs a "high value" item or two. Chicken sausage and ham are insufficient for his level of hotel. Above all the staff were fantastic from great from greeting to departure. They acted very quickly to assist on every request and they were a credit to the hotel. We will be back!

We booked this hotel at the last minute with few expectations, but wow - this was such an amazing place to stay. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location in the Old City near some great temples. Very nice pool with shade and a great bar nearby. The staff kindly helped us with several scenarios (ATM card stuck in bank machine, sick child during tuk-tuk tour). I would not hesitate to stay here again when coming to Chiang Mai, it is really a top-notch hotel.

Friends originally booked a nearby hotel and I was late to the party. I picked Chala Number 6 due to the proximity to their hotel. It was the right decision! The property is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms well appointed. The staff is super accommodating and so so friendly. The included breakfast is delicious! The group staying nearby stopped over to tour Chala Number 6 and agreed this should have been their first choice too! Don't make their mistake, if staying in Chaing Mai, book your stay at Chala Number 6.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go all out while visit Thailand and found Chala Number 6 when searching for a high end hotel, and we're SO glad we did! In the middle of everything in Chiang Mai, the staff is incredibly sweet and attentive, breakfast is included and absolutely delicious (as is tea time!), rooms are spacious and beautiful, and amenities were abundant. Chiang Mai Paradise ”
Went for three nights as part of our honeymoon, got one of the 2 rooms with outdoor hot tub. Really nice. Gorgeous room. Pool, landscaping, great location in old city right on the path of the weekly night market (which btw has awesome Prices on just about anything you get). We would return even though we are from the states. It was that nice.
