This was a beautiful homestay with an amazing host and breakfast. She hired me a wonderful driver for the day to take me to the pagoda, 3 tombs, and the citadel. He then took me to a great local restaurant, where the family immediately took a shine to me and I ended up having dinner and drinks with them later that evening. As far as accomadation, the room was cool and quiet. There were no windows, which made it feel like a bit like a tomb, and I couldn't figure out how to get the hot water to work. That being said, the homestay is located next to the citadel, the garden is GORGEOUS, and the host is friendly. I would def stay again!

What a Fabulous Place to Stay”
Right in the old part of Hue just a ten Minute walk from the Imperial City, truly a local place to stay. We were made very welcome by the host at this homestay - a beautiful house, very clean, spacious room and lovely gardens to eat a good breakfast or enjoy peace and quiet or just chatting with the host, who has good English. Highly recommended!

Unique homestay experince in an old city”
Very nice homestay experience. The house has a huge garden with a lot of tropical trees and all different types of plants. The room is big, clean, and with solid wood furniture (more than 100 years old). The host provided very good traditional Vietnams breakfast. The house is close to the old emperor palace (walking distance). In addition, the host is a musician and he sings very good Vietnamese folk songs. The house is good for somebody especially interested in Vietnam history and local life style.

The owner (Dao) is an amazing and extremely friendly woman. Her yard is a garden to behold and she is so warm and inviting. It was a treat to stay there. Close to the Citadel, and a short taxi to perfume river and the main part of town. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

A quiet oasis”
A beautiful quiet garden oasis in the midst of a noisy town. Our hostess was gracious and very helpful, calling us a taxi when needed. The location is quite near to the Citadel but distant from city center-that was the only disadvantage to this beautiful home stay.

No bug screens on the windows and the place was damp and smelled, we only stay one night out of three we payed for and move on , we also pay for breakfast and ended up going to the super market for bread and butter for some in the morning to eat . Disappointed 😔
