Ridiculously rude”
The reservation had been made for days in advance and was quoted a price, received the quote via email, and upon getting to the hotel, the guy at the front desk would not give me the rooms for the price stated. I showed him the paper with all of the reservation info and he told me that he was going to charge me an additional fee because there was going to be 4 people in a king suite. He also stated his rates change daily, which means he jacks up the price upon guest arrival, going against the agreement you may already have. When asked for his name, he declined to give it and instead, pointed at the wall where 3 signs hung with three different names with one as the owner, one the manager on duty, and some other finely printed paper in a picture frame. We stayed from Friday-Sunday, and the housekeeping lady and man (who liked they were the rude counter guy's parents) did not refresh our rooms. When asked if they would, they mumbled something to each other and pushed the cart in the opposite direction. In order to have clean linens, we had to take them out of the rooms where they had refreshed and left the doors open for the other employee to vacuum. The trash wasn't changed, no fresh linens, beds weren't made and the customer service is horrible. It's ridiculous that their internet price during the week is $89 but on Friday it increases to $220 and $235 on Saturday. That is price gouging at its finest. Only for the rooms to be basic and you receive horrible service. If you are going to spend your money and expect something great, DON'T stay at the 9121 U.S. Highway 49 Gulfport, MS Comfort Suites.

Cons: Under renovation Missing light bulbs...couldn’t replace Room smelled like smoke...machine used to help alleviate this was sitting in room when we arrived... Pros: Nice hot breakfast Pool was nice for my granddaughter Close to everything!

Really good - I just needed a room for the night because I needed a room near the airport to get to an early flight, so location and price on a last minute booking were my main reasons for choice. It exceeded expectations. Easy to find location, very close to airport, and the hotel was very clean and in good shape. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked about where to go to eat.
