Th e hotel and staff were amazing. The only thing that was under par was the dryer. Your cloths never dried. Lots to do and everything was close and convenient.

Seemed like a newer hotel that was well appointed. The hot tub and pool were great, and I enjoyed the fitness center(very small- but had what I needed). The morning breakfasts were tasty, the rooms were comfortable, and the linens were clean/pretty good quality. I also appreciated the cookies and coffee that were available in the lobby. The only cons: 1.) While it was mostly a very quiet hotel (we never heard anyone in the neighboring rooms), we did hear people stumbling around and talking in the middle of the first night. It's possible that they were just loud/ the problem has nothing to do with door insulation 2.) While I'm very pleased that this is an animal free hotel (probably why it "felt" clean), there was a large pet dog at breakfast one morning. I know this was a pet because it wore a muzzle and slept on the floor of the dining room by it's special snowflake (inconsiderate idiot) owner's table. They need to train the staff to recognize fake service animals/ADA requirements.

They make a big deal about being an 8.5 out of 10, I’d rank them more of a 7. Rooms were clean and had been remodeled relatively recently. Where they fall short is more in the little details. TV/cable didn’t work but desk worker told me how to reset cable box so, it must be a common problem. TV was small’ish (32”). I could see some mold on the fins of the heater units, that’s a simple cleaning thing. The card reader on the door didn’t work consistently. One desk worker thought it was the cards so, they reencoded them but another worker (who also reencoded the cards) thought the reader needed cleaning, which made sense since the cards worked fine in outside doors. Reader never worked consistently during stay so, I don’t think they ever looked at it. Breakfast was very basic and staff had hard time keeping up with crowd. These are the little things that keep it from being very good/great. Beds were fine and rooms were clean. Plenty of outlets to plug in/recharge devices. Bathrooms/showers were very good. Good location, attached to convention center and near casino if that’s what you’re into.

Great hot breakfast, friendly staff, limited parking in back, rooms being renovated. Our room was not updated, so a bit old and run-down, but their improvements are looking great. I'd definitely stay here again...good value!

Walkable to casino...”
We love the location as I like to gamble a little but my husband doesn’t. I can just walk over to the front door! We’ve stayed here many times, however on our recent stay I noticed a $100 charge on my card, ( I had booked through a different site). After ‘the other site’ checked on it the hotel told them it was for ‘incidentals’ and would check. They promptly took off the ‘pending charge’. We’ll stay again but for sure check the CC after!

Breakfast was good in that there WAS actual hot breakfast. Air conditioner was VERY loud so sleep wasn’t good. Bathroom could have been cleaner—dark urine stains around the bottom of the toilet. Towels were literally threadbare. New decor isn’t welcoming—harsh white bathroom walls reminded me of old filling station bathrooms. Lots of peeling paint. Staff was VERY nice. But bottom line —property was pricy for what you get.

We had to leave within 10 minutes of checking in. Both rooms had a disgusting smoke and unclean odor. Looked like one of those hotels where you rent the room by the hour. I wouldn't stay there even if it was free.

The room was just too outdated. It may have been clean but it did not feel clean due to all the up grades needed. First off our room had a terrible smell, the bed sheets had faded stains on them so we slept in our clothes, the chair in our room had rips in the seats, the table had several Knicks and scratches on the ends .the reading material was dirty, there were not many outlets for charging devices and the carpeting near the rear stairwells were terribly stained. We did not even attempt to have breakfast the room was so bad we just wanted to leave. However the beds were comfortable so we did get a good night's sleep and the staff was very friendly. I hate to give this review because the people really were cheerful and smiling, but I do think a some updating would make this a better place to stay.

I have two complaints. The desk person was unable to tell me the cost of my room. My bed on the newly remodeled floor was TERRIBLE. It hurt to lie on it. I was uncomfortable all night and I woke up the next morning stiff and aching everywhere. It was the same for my room mate. Other than that, my stay was just fine.
