I don't agree with review. Everything is above expectation with me. Actually, I stayed at 2nd floor and I know stayed in 1st floor during our holiday. This is home stay so you will take advantages of cheap price + real feeling with Dalat people + local food. I see you usually go back late at 2 AM - 3 AM - but his family and other guest always have fun time until 11-11.30 PM. I am very happy to get back at 11 PM, 2-3 AM is too late for family time - nothing to complain. I've got an amazing holiday at "Dalat Authentic Homestay". Everything is above my expectations. + Location: we stayed at a real home stay. They have a flower & strawberry farm near this house. However, this house is not far from city centre. I think it is only 1.5 - 2 km far from this house to city centre. + Food/Dining: It's not only free breakfast, but also have free dinner, even if you stay at his family at noon, you also got free lunch - Awesome. Moreover, his sister taught me and other guest how to make Dalat local meal. Very interesting time at night when everybody cooking together. + Condition: Clean. + Room Standard: We have a large bed in a 20 square meter room. Open window to the farm. Very good view. + Staff Performance: Hmmm ... they are the sweetest people who I've ever meet. During my holiday, I think they are my family and this is my home. It's true. + Value for Money: I cannot believe that I can find an awesome location with this price. This price is even less than motel or 1 star hotel in Dalat because of free breakfast/dinner/farm trip, but their service like 5 stars. Totally, thank you and your family a lots. I will miss your family a lots. Hope that in my next time in Dalat, your home stay still have enough available room for me!!!!

Wonderful loving family!”
We had an absolutely lovely time at the Dalat Authentic Homestay. Huan, Hiew, and their family were so welcoming, friendly and accomodating during our entire stay. It really felt like our home by the time we had to leave! The family helped us with everything we needed, from renting motorbikes and booking bus tickets, to getting us medicine when we had a cough. Our favorite part of the stay was the big family dinner ever night. All of the guests would gather in the kitchen and help chop, peel, wash and fry everything to prepare the meal. Then we would all gather around the table and feast! Such a wonderful feeling to share a meal with fellow travelers and a local family. We would not hesitate to stay here again and already miss it!

Get off the backpacker trail and experience Dalat family life. We were struggling to decide between a cheap hostel in the centre of town and this homestay and were so glad we chose to stay with Huan and his family. Despite being only a few kilometres outside of the centre, the feeling is completely different. On the top of a hill next to the patchwork of farms, very few tourists venture up here. However, we got a free transfer from the Futabus station to the door. All the drivers know the address. The rooms are large and modern, as Huan has only been running a homestay for a short while. Showers are hot and the whole family is friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. They speak great English and were happy to advise us on tours. They are easy and interesting to talk to. Huan, Hieu and their brothers also run an 'easy rider' style motorbike tour, which we took and would certainly recommend. We were given wellies and shown around the family's farm, which is great fun. We were given fresh fruit at every available opportunity and helped out with the cooking in the evening. Sitting around the table for dinner is a good opportunity to get to know the other guests and chat about the day. I miss that home-made strawberry jam at breakfast too.

this has got to be the best value for money and the best value for the heart. An amazing family atmosphere which has to be shared by all the guests over massive banquets. The homestay family are incredible resilient people whose story of a war time trek from villages cloose to Mai Lai across hundreds of miles of jungle nto the highlands of Dalat is awe inspiring. Theres is an amazing vietnamese success story arising out of terror, starvation and back breaking hard work. I loved them, the homestay, the guests and everything they offerred us.

We a a wonderful time”
We booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 3, wishing we could have had time to stay longer. This really is an authentic homestay, the family lives there and are around, and they all are super nice people. We got to cook with them and had fun conversations, and even if they all don't speak english, they try to communicate other ways. The owner has his own Banana Easy Rider motor bike tours, we took the one-day tour and got to see and hear a lot of interesting things. Huan speaks great English. Recommend staying here 100%!

Best experience of our travels so far”
I cannot fault any aspect of our homestay experience. From the moment we arrived, Huan and his family went above and beyond our expectations to ensure that we had an amazing stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The wifi connection was very strong and steady. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The cooking and eating experience was wonderful. Tea, coffee and water were freely available all day. My young children had such a lovely welcome and particularly enjoyed playing with the family's children. The free tour of the family farm was interesting and informative. The easy rider tour we arranged with Huan was an amazing adventure. We stayed with the family for Christmas day and enjoyed a fantastic home-from-home experience. After extending our stay by two days, we still didn't want to leave, and will definitely return in the future. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Book! You won't regret it!

The staffs know how to speak english well too. The easy rider package was a great deal! We experienced dalat and the countryside at its best! Thanks to our tourguide- jim, who did great explaining everything. The only downfall was the breakfast menu is the same everyday- bread and egg. In addition, the reception area is not that clean. Overall, it was indeed a homestay, so do not expect facilities that are in a hotel.

Outstanding experience ”
This is by far the best homestay experience there is in all of Vietnam. Huan and his family are just amazing. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and welcoming home to stay at. The food that we got to prepare every evening was always delicious. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. I'm so happy that we stayed here. I highly suggest it to anyone! Side note - Huan also does amazing tours with his company Banana easy rider... Also outstanding experience!

Our stay in da lat was one of or best we had in vietnam, huang (sorry if spelled wrong) and his family were amazing hosts, totally welcoming and helpful with any questions! The room with balcony was really spacious and clean. You can go on tours with huang or hieu to see their farm if you want. Thefoodwas really good as well, you csn take the chance and have a little cooking class here every night when thrang prepares dinner for everyone withthe help of willing guests! There is no tv or aircon in the room but if thats ok for you it willbe a great time in dalat! Thanks for the great experience!

Would've been nice...”
Would've been a great homestay had we not been overbooked due to an error on agoda. There were several people with us who were brought to a different hotel because of this error. We decided not to stay here and went elsewhere. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming and gladly gave us our money back and paid for our taxi rides to the new hotel. They also helped us book an alternate hotel in town and gave us snacks while we waited. Overall, seems like a really wonderful atmosphere at the homestay and we were sad we missed out.

We have (already there atm) a great stay with the family! They are so kind charming and helpfull! Unfortunately my girlfriend had an accident, the whole family takes excellent care of her! The Happy Authentic Da Lat Homestay”
We found that food preparation together under the instruction of the family's star chef was fun! We would recommend this experience to everyone visiting Vietnam. We visited the nearby farms, a silk thread making factory, a rice wine distillery all in the farming valley region here. We were also taken to see the amazing Hằng Nga/Crazy House in Da Lat city and designed by Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga.

I stayed with my girlfriend just for one night and it was really fantastic. Huan's family is very friendly and helpful and they make all the guests feel like part of a big family. The room was ok, comfortable, and the house is in a quiet area. It was one of our best nights in Vietnam. I also took a motorbike tour with Huan and it was amazing. We absolutely recommend it!

Jew Gathering”
We booked without knowing this homestay attracts and promotes activities for jewish youth. We had breakfast and dinner included in the price which was a big plus. The downside is you can't really rest as there always noise inside the rooms during the night and really noisy starting 7 AM. They lock the doors at night and then you have to ring a bell that wakes up everyone so we felt bad and also the grandmother was angry because we wake her up... The owner was really nice to us during all the stay, she greeted us and make sure we had breakfast and dinner.

very authentic homestay”
Although the house is a little far from town,cabs are cheap. Our stay was a little more authentic than we were expecting. There was also a lot more people than we were expecting.There are 3 bathrooms that we shared with 8 members of family and 17 other guests. Our room had only bed and not even a trash can. We were awaken every morning at 6am by baby's cry. When we went out one night and got back after midnight next day we were told not to come back later than 11pm since grandmother doesn't like that. It felt like they would get upset if we had other plans for dinner in the town and not at the house. They are really very sweet people who care about what they do, it just wasn't so much our style since we enjoy more to be independent and free with our decision making.

Great experience in family”
Great experience in family! The house is far from the city center but has motorbike to rent. Everybody in the family are special, the grandmum and grandad are great and funny even if they do not speak any english at all! The place is really famous in Israel, so we had a lovely dinner, that we all cooked, with 20 young israelians travelling around the south asia.

Good value but no place to hang out”
Good quiet location, big clean room. Traveling during 'Corona' scare so maybe quieter than usual and probably a bit cheaper. They asked me if I wanted breakfast and I said 'ok I about 10 minutes' since I had to make a phone call. Well it was a long call and they kept calling me from downstairs, then knocking on my door asking if I wanted them to bring it to my room. Please! I'm on an important call and I think I have the right to privacy, guess they think I'm part of the family and should come when I'm called!

The family is lovely but know what you are getting”
The family is lovely and hard workig. The dinners were delicious an the atmosphere over the meals was lovely and fun. We didn't realize from the description on Agoda that we would be sharing a bath, so best to double check if that is important to you. Also the rooms didn't have fans as advertised and it was too not to sleep with the windows closed so both of my children were covered with mosquito bites. Finally the grandfather smokes a lot inside the house so if you are sensitive to smoke this isn't the place for you.

Nice friendly staff, just a few complaints.”
It was nice to stay, the bedroom was nice but didn't have a fan, it got a little hot in the night as we've been used to air con. Trang was a lovely host and would do anything for you. The tour to the waterfalls and plantations was great but our tour guide chili didn't speak great English. It was supposed to have hot water but it was freezing cold every time. The food in the evening was fantastic and was great to be a part of it.
