Perfect Oasis in the Old City”
Out of the 6 hotels we stayed in while traveling through Thailand, this was considered our "splurge," and oh was it worth it! The staff offers top hospitality, the hotel is a stunning oasis hideaway, the breakfast buffet is the best we had, and the rooms were well decorated & comfortable. Not to mention, the location was perfect for us. We were there during Songkran Festival, so there was water action steps from the hotel! And when we didn't feel like participating in the Festival, we could relax and meet other guests at the jacuzzi pool. Coming from other resorts with large pools, I thought I might be bothered by the smaller size, but it felt so perfect and comfortable! If I ever find myself in Chiang Mai again, I will most definitely be staying at De Naga!

The hotel was an excellent location right in the middle of the old city. The room was amazing, we had the Naga Suite and it was big enough for the three of us, the bathroom had two sinks and was very large. the staff was great, very accommodating. Some review say the pool area is small, and it is, really just a few chairs and a small spa pool. However, you are in the heart of the old city so its not going to be a big resort pool. We were so busy in Chaing Mai that we never had a chance to use it although my self and my older son did have a drink at the bar one day. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent Stay at the De Naga Hotel”
The best stay ever at the De Naga !! The De Naga is absolutely perfect starting with the check in, size of room, cleanliness of room, housekeeping, service, staff, location, restaurant, swimming pool area, air conditioner, shower hot water/ water pressure, comfort of the bed, EVERYTHING about the De Naga is PERFECT. Beautiful, serene hotel”
From the entrance to the room, DeNaga is a beautifully appointed hotel. Our room was clean and tidy. It is close to a lot of restaurants and the Sunday night market. Not far from other night markets. Excellent breakfast, especially the bread pudding! Nice selection of dishes and you can order eggs your way. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be back!

An elegant affordable hotel central to all”
I was so happy with our decision to stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they booked us tours and gave us directions around town. The breakfast was incredible, with western and Asian options. The ambience was particularly beautiful. There was even television options in English, which my daughter appreciated. The only drawback for me was that the beds were quite firm. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

A very attractive hotel. Lovely pool. Polite staff. As expected tours and massages organised by the hotel are expensive which is ok if you want convenience and not on a budget, otherwise it’s definitely worth shopping around.

A Good Stay at the De Naga Hotel,Chiang Mai”
The layout of the furnishings in/ of the hotel are so exquisite and inviting and reflect intensely the Thai Buddist culture,which in a good way pervades all Thai life today,and is appreciated by Westerners,who have largely lost theirs...There were in these furnishings which I praise,plenty of stupendous artefacts/ icons on display of Thai Buddist culture,also photographical. This layout made the hotel so inviting as an icon and one could detect the atmosphere of luxury.The hotel’s central location and red neon sign advertising its presence I also commend.It is very spacious.The restaurant,which I used for breakfast is fantastic with great service and cuisine

Hidden in an alley off the main road, De Naga offers beautifully decorated rooms. Dark wood paneling and nice accent lights lend charm to the atmosphere. We really enjoyed this hotel, it’s a short walk to the road and is a convienent location to begin exploring Chiang Mai’s old city.

Great place”
I only stayed 2 nights but I really like Da Naga, very welcoming, clean rooms, nice breakfast, good located in Chiang Mai , close to night markets, restaurants . Very friendly staff but that is most of the case in Thailand but here I really liked the atmosphere . OK the pool was not much but I was not there for that so for me it does not matter, the SPA I did not test so cannot say how good it was. I will be back definitely !

My wife and I were traveling around Thailand and made a stop in Chiang Mai and found this little gem. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Just about a 7-10 minute walk to the main night markets. No complaints and would recommend!

Great Old city location ”
Loved staying here . Fabulous location on the edge of the old city . Some amazing restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Ideally located for temples, Sunday walking street market and the night bazaar. Beautiful bedroom and quiet too.

Very good value for money hotel”
I stayed in the De Naga Hotel for 5 days and I loved it. Excellent location. Our room was quite big and always clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. the only "con" would be that the swiming pool is quite small and it gets full quickly. Breakfast was served at the entrance bar with a very attentive and friendly staff. When/ if I'm visiting Chiang Mai again, I'm definitely coming back to this hotel. Excellent experience.

Perfect if your tired of chain hotels ”
I travel to SE Asia regularly and over time have grown tired of the standard 4-5 star hotel. De Naga offers a classic northern Lanna Kingdom feel with beautiful carvings/woodworking. The pool is very small, but the restaurant in front of the hotel is excellent.
