Stunning Rome. ”
Our stay at dei mellini was fantastic. The staff were on hand prior to our arrival & we're very helpful in arranging our chauffeur to pick us up from the airport. They also arranged a bottle of prosecco on ice in our room for my partners 40th. They were helpful throughout our stay, even the bellboys/porters, maids & breakfast room staff were all polite. Bus tour tickets available from the hotel, then the nearest pick up is st the Vatican. The location is perfect with the Fiume trevere located behind the hotel, a 10 minute walk to Castel sant' Angelo & the Vatican. Two fabulous restaurants near to the hotel, vitos & splendor both priced reasonably well €60 for a family of 3. The hotel has a games room, which our 6year old loved & used in the evening. November is s lovely time to go with the Autumn sun, average 29 degrees, & the Xmas decorations up. Queues are not to bad & best going to the Vatican at about 5pm. We queued for about 10 minutes.

great hotel in a great quiet location”
My husband and i stayed at the dei mellini hotel for seven nights and it was a great haven to come back to after exploring Rome all day.It is in an ideal location in a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle that rome is.Some of the best retaurants and trattorias we found were just 5 to 10 mins walking away and not in the busy piazza's as you might think. To walk to most of the attractions took only 15 to 20 mins, and the furthest which was the colleseum took only 25 to 30 mins max. The staff were all very freindly and helpfull.There are many cheaper hotels in Rome but you will be sacrafising on quality and tranquility.

Lovely hotel ”
Everything about my visit to the Dei Mellini hotel was wonderful. All the hotel staff were professional, helpful,friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and well appointed. During my stay I celebrated my birthday and the hotel kindly gave me a complimentary bottle of Italian sparkling wine. Thank you to everyone at this superb hotel.

This was our second stay at the Dei Mellini”
This was our second stay at the Dei Mellini and we weren't disappointed so I guess that speaks volumes. My only negatives/disappointments are; the small TV, no English channels to watch (except CNN), breakfast was ok but no sliced bread/toasting facility? 'And whats with this practice of turning the heat on and AC off in spring - Those rooms get very hot... In the hotel's defense, we found this to be common practice for all the hotels we stayed at.

Little modern hotel in Vatican Area”
We only stayed in Dei Mellini hotel for 1 night. It's located in quiet road, 20 mins walk to Spagna & shopping district, 40 mins to colloseum. Nice hotel, modern, very clean, staffs very attentive. Only the breakfast that wasn't really satisfying.

Helpfulness of staff at desk and breakfast Always there to give advice and guidance Location was superb 15 mins walk to Vatican 15 mins to central Old Rome and 35 mins out to Olympic stadium Will definitely go back 1 thing I didn't like was bar at front entrance of hotel not a great atmosphere

Good Pick”
The hotel is conveniently located by the Vatican though about 10 blocks from the Metro but still walkable. The room sizes are generous for Europe and air conditioner worked well. The staff in the dining area was nice, especially the lady who has Asian ancestry-- she was so upbeat and pleasant! My only issue was that on check in I was not given the full check in speech so I had questions that I had to go back to ask and a couple of times I was made to feel as if I was bothering them. However, overall, the stay was very good, and I would recommend the hotel.

Absolutely love this hotel ”
Have been to Rome several times and stayed here twice. Perfect location for all the sites, 10 minutes from the Vatican, and 10 from the Via del Corso. Clean, roomy and the staff are really helpful. Will happily stay here again when booking next Roman getaway.

Great hotel if you want to visit the Vatican”
we stayed at this hotel last august and had a lovely time. it is within walking distance to the vatican (although there is not much in the immediate neighbourhood to do). the breakfast room was quite comfortable but expensive at 21 euros for a continental breakfast. i really recommend the rooftop fitness centre which all had top of the line equipment. also be sure to ask the staff for recommendations for restaraunts. they sent us to some of the best places we ate in rome!

Short break to Rome”
We took a short break to Rome and had a great time. We stayed at this hotel which we can not fault I didn't give it all 5 * because there is always room for improvement in everything but I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to room, and we would stay at this hotel again. The rooms are a nice size and so was the bathroom, with a good shower. It was walking distance from all you want to see in Rome and the staff I must say were excellent in all areas of the hotel.

Great location, in a quiet part of the city. ”
The staff were so helpful, nothing we asked for was an issue. Hotel is a short walk to the Vatican and the Spanish steps. Also only 20 minutes to the trevi fountain. We stayed in a beautiful suite on the 4th floor, breakfast was simple but plentlyful, hotel was spotless and all staff extremely attentive. We would stay again.

Great location... friendly staff!”
We stopped here over this last weekend. Me and my husband went away for a long weekend break, I must say the location was perfect. 10 min walk to Vatican City and over the bridge ur just 10 min walk the other way to the main p.o.i. We were upgraded to a suite For free. Down the road a bus (87) talks u straight to colleseum. Hotel was clean and breakfast good.

Great Hotel in Rome”
The hotel was great. Me and my wife had a great time in Rome and the hotel was just fine.Everything was clean and seemed new. Great breakfast with a perfect café espresso. Good location, at a walking distance from the Vatican city and major attractions of Rome.

Perfect hotel”
I visited with my partner for NYE 2016/17. We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect. The staff were extremely attentive and very friendly. The breakfast had a good range of hot and cold food, the bedrooms were smart and comfortable. I highly recommend if you want a hotel a little away from the tourist centre in an authentic part of Rome.

Enjoyed the stay and no regrets. Reception lady was attentive, courteous and helpful. All other hotel staff are friendly. Good selection of breakfast. Reasonable in-house menu prices. Hotel provided pay by day parking for our car in a private garage.

Overall good hotel”
The staff was friendly and nice. The room was clean and they were cleaning it twice a day which was great. The room very small and dark (despite being sunny August) with no view but that was an incentive to get out and walk in Rome. The kids playroom had nothing to do in it. Everything was 20min walk from it and the area where it is located is good. A good choice to walk around Rome and see the sightseeings.
