Basic Guest House for Budget Traveler”

1. Location. Walking distance to Kuala Tahan Jetty and access point to Taman Negara. Not far from the local eating place and small convenience store. 2. Quiet surroundings for those how looking for a peaceful place. 3. Welcome drink from the host (Honestly I didn't expect this). 4. Car parking area provided but very limited space. 5. Small shared pantry provided for guest users at the terrace. Coffee, Sugar & biscuits are also provided (Self-service). 6. Shared toilet/bath are in acceptable condition. 7. Blankets and towels are provided. 8. Guesthouse is generally clean. 9. Wifi is provided.
1. The guest house was generally clean but still got a few points left with dust (Believed due to improper cleaning but still in acceptable condition). 2. No river view even though it is located next to the river. The main facade faces the entrance (garden view). Luckily the garden is acceptable conditioned. Note: This is budget traveler accommodation so please expect a ceiling fan (No, A/C) and will be provided with basic facilities only. Mostly suitable for backpackers.

Average place to stay in Kuala Tahan”

Location-Area: Safe area. Near to the boat. Restaurants: Several restaurants near to the river. Toilet: Standard toilet in Malaysia, mixed with shower. Big and spacious. Water-Coffee: They don't have water refill but coffee and tea for free.
Cleanliness: The cleaning of the room could be improved. We had to use our sheets. Bed-Mattress: Comfortable mattress but too short for a person of 1,85m, like me. Noise-Insulation: Bad insulation. You can hear everything happening in the corridors and outside. Also is near to the mosque and the rooster will wake you up at 5am. Bring earplugs. Room size: Big room but some chair will be welcomed. Mosquitoes: In the photos there was a mosquito net but was NOT present in the room.

Me and my friend had a lovely time at Delimah! The staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind and one evening we even had fun with Aisyah ( the owners cute, little daughter) doing sparklers for Ramadan. Everything was nice and clean. The guesthouse is only 3 minute walk from the floating restaurants / travel agents. Wifi and service is good here too if you need it. i would definitely Recommend to anyone:) Thank you so much for having us Delimah!!

Great stopover”

Clean, comfortable, and a five minute walk from the Jetty to Taman Nagara, this is a great place to rest before your adventurous journey. The family are lovely and so accommodating, providing us with lots of useful information as well as going the extra mile by allowing us to leave some belongings with them. We will definitely stay again!

Felt like home”

Very friendly manager, who welcomed us with some drinks and even gave us some homemade cake. We really felt welcome here, felt like home. The rooms are clean and tidy, really good value for the money considering it is only a 5 minute walk to the Jetty (2 minute boatride) to the National Park Taman Negara. Excellent spot to stay. Warm water in the shower, WiFi... we almost did not want to leave. I hope that after the whole COVID-situation blows over this household will receive lots of bookings!

Really nice place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpfull and you can book some tours if you like. Location is in the village. Room is also good. The musquito net could use an upgrade (there are some holes in it...), but you can leave the AC on if you like.
The mosque is next door and pretty loud. If you're a bad/light sleeper, bring ear plugs!

Nice place for bagpackers”

Nice, friendly and very helpful host, they offer nice breakfast and laudry service and they can also arrange nice tours in the park for you. In very nice calm location near all restaurants and shops.
Can be noisy because of the near Mosque. It can wake u up early morning.
