really uncomfortable pillows; having the bathroom inside the bedroom is not as conductive if you’re planning to have one of party use the sofa couch. also also bathroom runs and turns on with the slightest of movement from across the room which is annoying

Dimora Maio is located right in the heart of beautiful Monopoli in a quiet street! Everything is reachable by foot: bars, cafes, restaurants, the harbour, seaside, shops, supermarkets.... Our room had a balcony with great views. Also, the roof terrace is stunning! The room is very clean, bright and well equipped with a comfortable bed. A plus for a room in the historic center: the building has an elevator which was very comfortable for carrying our luggage up and down. We would definitely come back and recommend to stay at Dimora Maio!

The accommodation corresponded to what was displayed on the pictures on booking. Clean and spacious.

Due to covid restrictions breakfast was served in a bar for which we received a coupon. This coupon however only included a coffee, fresh orange juice and one croissant. Additional food and beverages ordered had to be paid personally. We completely respect that things maybe altered due to covid regulations but if pictures on booking present a wide range of breakfast products (yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissant with eggs, cheese and meats) it is not wrong to assume that these should be included in your breakfast. We contacted the people managing the check-in and admin of the property regarding this issue but they had very little sympathy for this (where they had initially stated that they would reimburse us for the additional items and that we could order whatever we liked). They found it completely normal that breakfast consisted of one croissant. We were told that the breakfast showed on booking was just a picture. After a 20 minute argument they agreed to refund the yoghurt with fruit that we ordered (we paid the other additional items) while ridiculing us throughout the discussion. They also tried to end the discussion by stating that if they had to reimburse our breakfast they would need to charge us for late check-out (we checked out well before the deadline of 10 am) and 15 euro pp for the outside shower we took on the rooftop of the property after check-out (that was the first time they mentioned anything about a fee to be paid for this). They also charged us 6 euro for guarding the luggage prior to our afternoon departure. Very unpleasant end of our otherwise very pleasant stay in beautiful Monopoli.

The location was perfect, close to every spot that you need to see and great restaurants.

Everything. We had a beautiful room that had everything we needed, a lovely bathroom and a balcony that we fell in love with. It was in a nice, quiet street in the centro storico where, in the evening, there was light music coming from the restaurant below which added to the romance of it all. The free vouchers that we used for breakfast at nearby cafes were great too - the service, food and coffee at both of those places was perfect.

The room was quite small but, honestly, it's not a problem at all. The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable and the bonuses of the balcony and location made it all come together.

Amazing place to stay in Monopoli - great location, in the heart of historical Monopoli, a 7-min walk from the main beach; delicious, varied breakfast right next door; spacious, modern room with a cute balcony and a great, easily accessible rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the sea!

Wonderful friendly staff. Emaculate and stylish room. Large bathroom very well appointed. Balcony a plus. Well If you have a car at a popular season, good luck. Certainly try to rent a space in advance, otherwise spend time searching. The old town , as expected has narrow passages. Difficult to her to inner City

The staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, various eggs available upon request. Lovely apartment with an extra outside shower!!
