        Location and cleanliness”
Location is bad, walking distance to bus station but it was located deep in a living area of local people. Its not really hotel more to air bnb concept. Area is extremely dirty that you could hardly see clean road. Rubbish is everywhere. During the night, you can see boobs everywhere along the way to the hotel. Very old hotel and facilities. Staff speaks very little english

Don Bosco Group front desk staff - incompetent”
We were mistakenly brought to the Don Bosco sister hotel by a tutuk, i.e. Don Bosco Hotel instead of the correct location, i.e. Don Bosco Guesthouse. The front desk staff at Don Bosco Hotel (don't know her name but she was was on duty on 4 Feb 2019, about between 12pm- 2pm), checked her system & told us that our name didn't appear in her system despite us showing her the Agoda confirmed booking details. We called Agoda & they told us that we should've gone to Don Bosco GUESTHOUSE and not Don Bosco HOTEL. The HOTEL staff then only told us she actually saw our name appearing on the GUESTHOUSE list before our AGODA call. WHY DIDN'T SHE RESOLVED THIS BEFORE OUR CALL TO AGODA? We've wasted our roaming call back to our home country!!! The front desk staff (whether it's HOTEL or GUESTHOUSE) should be trained to handle this simple things for their customers. Throughout the whole process, she was patient & friendly enough to let us get on a FREE SHUTTLE VAN to the GUESTHOUSE.

        Great staff, valuable for money”
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Don Bosco. It’s a training center for the youth and the staff (mostly trainees) are hospitable, helpful and friendly. The guesthouse is located approximately 2km away from the beach so it is more convenient if you rent a scooter when you’re in town. However, there are lots of local restaurants, cafes in the neighborhood plus a big wet market. Definitely a good choice for people who want to stay a little bit further from the backpacker are but still easy access the tourist destinations. Rooms are exactly described. We had a standard deluxe room.

        Worst Location”
Boy, oh boy. I want to start with saying that the staff was pretty great and the bed wasn’t the usual rock hard thing most of south east Asia has. But um, this hotel is straight up in a row of brothels. Like, “holy sh**. These are brothels guys.” We arrived at night and went out for food and water, got what we needed and immediately retreated back to our room to await day break. Also, Sihanoukville is pretty awful. We decided to stay here to be close to the ferry early in the morning. If I were you, id suck up the extra driving time and just stay in Otres. Also the toilet seat was very broken. But the brothels guys.... I’ve seen some stuff and that was a new and kind of shocking one for me. Beware.

Really clean, spacious room with hot shower and comfortable bed (soft!). Very nice and helpful staff. Near market. We rented a scooter to get around, but be careful because the police pull over foreigners regularly to ask for an international license (aka bribe money). Yes, the street appears to have women “working” at night, but also has families around and we felt perfectly safe. The guesthouse is good but we didn’t care for the town at all.

You'll need transportation to go to the beach, it's o.k. if you have a scooter or don't mind using moto taxis or tuktuks. The hotel is well-run, basic but comfortable rooms with wifi, tv, fridge, and aircon. All very good for the price. I'd stay there again.

Hookers on street around hotel and wifi never works”
If you need wifi like most travelers do to book and plan flights etc ...don’t stay here. Always an excuse why it doesn’t work in room. Not sure what type of school this is....don’t see much of any training going on....just the staff sitting on couches on their phones. Plus at night the street is a brothel....many many shops with dozens of girls / hookers and all the Chinese men desperate for their services. Very far from any beach, casino or restaurant as well. Dogs barking all night. Roosters making noise at all hours. Construction noise etc. If the above excites you...this is the hotel for u....otherwise there r better options for the same price.

We booked this place as it was close to the Mekong Express office we had to catch an early bus from. It’s far from the city centre but close to a local market. The ladies at the reception were very sweet and helpful. Spacious room with air con.

Very friendly staff and best price in sihanoukville for our dates, but location is far from everything, you need to take tuktuk or rent motorbike. This street full of "lady for rent" in night time. This guesthouse providing motorbike for rent for 8$/day (normal price is 5-6$/day). Drinks and water for normal prices at reception, wifi is normal (evening time slow as everywhere). Good price\quality for us. Ahh almost forgot - VERY WEAK WATER FLOW from shower :( i think its for electricity economy.

If you don´t mind taking long walks to the beach, etc. This is a place for you. Away from the noise at night time. But bring earplugs anyway. The roosters like to wake up the neighbourhood. I would surely stay here again.
