Quality hotel at a very good price Pros: * friendly & welcoming staff * over-all clean room * comfy bed, soft pillow & clean sheets * good water pressure * complimentary bottled water,coffee, tea & popcorn :) * complete toilettries and with hair dryer :) * strong wifi connection * good breakfast buffet selection * good location * their rooftop bar is a nice place to hang out & chill Cons: * a little dated * doors won't close properly * previous guest left his clothes in the laundry basket and they are not able to take them out Its in Bui Vien Street but you would't hear the noise and chaos from the outside. .Very much worth your money. They provide excellent customer service and great facilities at a very affordable rate. Im glad I chose Duc Vuong. :)

Very friendly ”
I’ve stayed here over a dozen separate occasions for 1 day up too 10 day and everything in between. The staff are faultless with very good English for most. That’s not something you can say about many Saigon hotels. Don’t be put off by the location for noise, it’s very quiet even for Bui Vien. The restaurant , bar on the rooftop has one of the best views of the city and unless you are staying in a £140 a night hotel then the view can’t be beaten. It’s a very pleasant place to be on an evening dining or just reading and having a drink. Out of the door you have everything from street food to restaurants serving every type of food if you want to dine out. They actually own the hotel next door that’s only about 12 months old too. This is also excellent. It’s a very safe , friendly place to be. As I type I’ve left my jade bracelet in my room and now I’m in Hanoi. I spoke to the hotel and it’s safe until I return to Hcmc in two weeks. It will be waiting I’m 100% sure.

Pros Rooms are neat & clean 2 Elevator Great roof top bar Very helpful & cheerful staff Strong wifi Mini fridge in the room Good amount of toileteries given every day. At the heart of bui vien walking street. Many bars & restaurant nearby. Opp is circle k so no worries. Stores luggage safely after check out Great breakfast but keep in mind they serve beef & pork also. But too many options of food. Cons Room too small though not a problem for me. Waterlogging in my washroom. Advice Please take room towards the back to avoid loud music on weekends at night. Will surely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel for a family of 4”
Really enjoyed this hotel for a family of four perfect the room was very spacious and had 3 beds for our family. And one slept on the nice couch. The bathroom was nice size although no shower only bath. The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop deck was A perfect way to end the day touring the city for happy hour and sunset. Very beautiful with the lanterns. The location is in a perfect walking street with many restaurants to choose from. Although the little local walk up the restaurant was the best for breakfast and dinner. Excellent hotel”
Excellent customer service. I'll definitely come back here given a chance. We just had a minor set back as the AC was leaking hard but it didn't bother us. We just used the towels to contain the water. Aside from that everything was amazing. Shout out to all the staff as they were very accomodating and attentive to our needs. Sir Viet is the epitome of what an excellent customer service is. He open doors for us, guide us on where to go, most of all he never let us cross the street alone. He always made sure it was safe for us to cross streets. You will understand how important it is when you're in Vietnam. Thanks for the very nice experience.

Thank you to the overall crew on Duc Vuong hotel! Your service from doorman, reception , housekeeping and even breakfast is exceptionally excellent. I am greeted with smiles all the time and received sincere service. They have fixed by bathroom light even without me requesting since ok. I was only suppose to stay in this hotel for only 2 days before I move to a 5 star for my work purpose. But I decided to extend my stay till the end of my business assignment, because it's a 4 star hotel with 6 star service! BTW Check out the excellent Catfe cafeteria located nearby :)

Great hotel in backpackers' district”
When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by their staff. Our first room had a broken air conditioning system. They sent technicians to check it 6 times amd on the 6th time of checking, they told us to monitor it for an hour and after an hour the front desk called and told us that we will just change our room. We had our room changed with a bathtub but it is leaking. Bit we managed to use the bathroom with the bathtub leaking. I am also commending the cleanliness of the room since they cleaned it for 5 straight days. And changed our towels. The breakfast buffet was also superb! They changed the main menu and kind of rice everyday. And for those who love chicken sausages and bacon, it is staple in their buffet. I also love their staff who were very accommodating and attends to our queries. The bellboys/guards is always opening the hotel door when they see us from afar. If I'll go back to Saigon on a budget again, I'll stay with Duc Vuong! True to their motto, "We Are Family."

This is the best hotel for me, the location is perfect and in the heart of the city. it is almost near to everywhere, tourist spots, night markets, airport and if you love party party it is the best location. The staffs are friendly, accommodating, helpful and very very kind. I love their buffet breakfast and the foods are awesome. I highly recommend this hotel to any kind of travelers solo, group, partners and family. Excellent Hotel!!!

Everything (location, cleanliness, amenities, food, staff) was excellent. Just a suggestion - shower curtain for the bathtub to avoid water spilling over to the bathroom floor every time a guest uses the shower.

All the members of the staff were accommodating and the rooms were clean and spacious. We loved that the hotel is right on a street that comes alive at night with bars, shops, and street food. Bonus points for the great breakfast buffet. Will book here again when we go back to HCMC!

First of all, the staffs are very friendly, they really follow their motto which is “We Are Family” , the buffet breakfast was perfectly good. The rooftop bar was so nice. Everyday they clean up the room. Definitely will come back. Worth the money and if you really into the night life, definitely should stay here

At location you may hide from the noisy Biu Vien yet you can enjoy its night life. Room is clean & well furnished. Staff are very nice. I like to have a drink at the roof top restaurant too.

Very good buffet breakfast - there is a real selection of food options. My room is a good size, A/C, separate shower/ bathtub with lots of hot water. Staff are always courteous and willing to help with anything. Elevator which is a real plus. I would gladly cone back if I return to HCMC. 👍😀

The staff is friendly, the breakfast is superb, there are a lot of shops around the area. Near the bus station going to Cambodia around 3 streets walk. Don't book your room near the elevator going to the restaurant or top bar. It is very noisy and you can hear the loud sounds and all the guest that going there. We requested to change room since we have a company of a child.

The service was great. When we got off the car, they already approached us and help us with our things. Check in was smooth. Breakfast buffet is something we look forward to every morning. Menu changes everyday. Staff were all great. We will stay here again we go back to saigon. And will definitely recommend to our friends.

Cinnamon smells wonderful ”
I loved the smell of cinnamon tea the moment I walked in. They kept my bag for 2 days before my check in as I was off on an excursion with only my carry bag. No charge for this service. Friendly professional service and staff always with a smile. I would prefer a shower to a tub... and the shower in the tub was too low.... otherwise perfect.

The staff was very friendly and even though the hotel doesn't look like 5 star, but the service is just like 5 star hotel services. Food and entertainment is just around the hotel and so convenient. Breakfast is nice and just good to start your journey with the delicious breakfast prepared by the hotel.
