"We wanted a double or queen bed but they only had 2 single beds so we combined them instead. One of the beds made me itchy in the middle of the night though. There was some stains in the toilet. There were 2 sinks however one of them was clogged. Couch in the room was outdated, a bit worn out. Everything else were great. Room was spacious enough. Perfect location. Our stay was comfortable. "

"The hotel owners and staff were helpful, efficient and friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. One very minor drawback was the distance from the centre of town but this never a problem. I enjoyed my brief stay in the Berg en Bos, and would be content to go back."

"Hotel is an inaccurate description for what is in fact several series of houses in a bungalow setup (where ground floor and 1st floor are split between hotel guests). The 1st floor is only accessible by stars, is is the case for the restaurant in the main building: this is not a place for the handicapped or people with children. The location in the woods however is great even when it is relatively close to the highway exits; the restaurant is positioned on a small hilltop which creates a very nice view. The rooms contain radio's which seems to come directly from a museum: pure 80s stuff: ridiculous (of course):refurbishment is required here. The staff was very kind and helpful, both at the reception desk and the restaurant. "
