"We landed in Groningen to get daughter settled into university for graduate work and had a week before her apartment was ready. Hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the No. 10 bus stop, which will take you in less than 15 minutes to the Grote (big) Market, which is inside the no-cars allowed City Center. Can also catch the bus to the door of the behemoth IKEA. We also took taxis to the market for about €10 (at night and in rainy weather). The front-desk staff was very helpful (hailing cabs for us because there is no Uber or LYFT in Groningen), the breakfast buffet was elaborate and refilled frequently, and the room cleanliness was above average. I booked, regrettably, through Agoda. Hotel website offers better deal. "
