"The location is great, there are multiple restaurants in a connected building. X-Park and the Outlet is all connected, which is easy access for a date. The hotel is exceptionally clean (which should be expected as it is new). The only thing I would hope for improvement would be the bed. The mattress and bedsheets are definitely not comfortable for the price you are paying for this hotel. The quality is something you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Other than that, the design of the room and cleanliness is great. The breakfast is mediocre. Great variety and options, but nothing spectacular. "

"fabulous hotel and worth the money. rooms are very spacious, especially for taiwan, and bathrooms are luxurious with jacuzzi tubs and big roomy showers. the restaurants are plentiful--i think there are three or four in the hotel alone--and the food is delicious. i got room service one night and the salmon was the best i'd ever had. the spa and fitness center are great and well equipped. service is excellent; most staff speak perfect english (much better than my chinese!) and are willing to do anything and everything to meet your needs. they helped me arrange transportation to and from the airport at 5:00am. good location very near the zhongli night market, but i would not recommend coming to this town. it is run down and kind of creepy, with a lot of betel nut stands and closed down buildings. however, the night market is one of the best i've ever been to--it has a lot variety (i.e. a guy selling turkish cakes, snake soup, cotton candy, etc.) and is much more spacious than most night markets in taiwan. the area is not that great, but if you have to leave for the airport, don't stay anywhere else! it's almost worth the trip to zhongli just to stay here, go to the spa and eat the food!"

"This hotel was such a pleasant experience. We live in Taiwan and have stayed in many hotels around the island and this one is one of the best. The rooms are clean and don't smell like cigarette as in most places we've stayed, including 5 stars hotels. It is a family oriented place so there were lots of kids, but the room sound isolation was quite good. We had dinner in the dim sum style restaurant and the food was amazing, the price was good for the portions you get. The facilities are nice and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, there's a huge variety, in my opinion the best hotel breakfast we've had in Taiwan. I'm vegan and there were tons of options for me. And finally the hydromassage pool was so good, you go through different stops that are numbered and massage different muscles, by the very end you feel so relaxed, I loved it. Oh! Also the hot spring tub and area in the room is very clean and spacious. All in all our experience in this place was amazing. "

"The hotel is an old building but newly renovated. The standard double room is spacious but the bathroom does need an upgrade. The lady staff behind the desk is extremely helpful and always cheer you with a smile. There is a Sogo Department Store within 15 min walk and the Zhongli Night Market is about 25 min on foot. For budget traveler, without doubt it's the first choice. "

"Want to try Taiwan motel experience...find it not bad especially with good location to ZhongLi Night market (5mins walk) My 2 kids enjoying the big Jacuzzi bath tub... Breakfast variety is limited but not bad...especially the carrot cake and egg pancake..."

"We were given free upgraded to executive room. The room is small, however it is very clean and neat. The hotel is located within 5mins walk to Sogo shopping mall on the left, and lots of small eateries on the left. Zhongli train station is also nearby. There is a free self-service laundry room, providing convenient for traveller who needs to get some laundry. This hotel is best for business traveller. However, breakfast provided is normal"

"Close to train and bus station. Close to night markets. If you like hanging out with locals stay here. If you like fancy malls and tourist sites stay in Taipei. As for me I'll revisit the Duke hotel Zhongli again. "
