unexpected second stay was just as nice”
This time we had a problem getting a train out of luxor on planned day (go at 8am for same day AC tickets!) and staff kindly let us hang around pool while we sorted out our plans. Better yet was the kindness of the staff. All in all, they helped us so much while we were there, planning our day trips and give advice about how to move around. Sure, it's an older family establishment and the restaurant and pool aren't too contemporary (and to be honest though they are trying breakfast misses the mark), but its a budget stay in a good location with willing staff and everything you will need while you are in Luxor (AC, a good shower, a nile view from the roof, and a place to hide out from the relentless touts ;)

Great Price for Services”
gaddis is a nice hotel. it is clean and the staff is very willing to help and very flexible. we changed around our reservations, asked to check out at 2 instead of 12 with no complaints from the staff. we even came late to the free breakfast and they served us. on the down side, the free breakfast is not good (but its free which is great for cheap traveling). the hotel is close to luxor temple, but to avoid the cost of a taxi (15-25 le) you might want a closer location. also, the crowd is a bit old. overall it was a lovely stay.

easy stay”
This is a great value (we got a deal booking through an online saver site). Our room had great AC, a good shower, a little sitting area, a balcony, a small tv, nicely painted walls and was quite clean and pleasant. Get a deal online and enjoy a quiet stay there with help from staff as you enjoy Luxor

The Gaddis Luxor a friendly basic hotel”
The Gaddis Hotel in Luxor is a basic hotel which provides clean but shabby furnishings. All staff are well trained, polite and helpful. Take time to enjoy one of their excellent cocktails. If you are on a tight budget I would suggest you seriously look at this hotel as your first choice. It is very good value for money and is suitably located for sightseeing.

Great Hotel, Cheap and Best in Luxor”
This Hotel has been awarded 3 Star by the Egyptian Tourism and I would say that at $ 12/Day which I paid for the Classic room was the Cheapest and the best of Comfort I ever received from any hotel in any of the Countries I visited till date..The Rooms were very clean and their pictures in Agoda resembles exactly the same..They had Good Wi-Fi and a Small swimming pool too..The breakfast was really delicious and welcoming Staffs..Overall a great place to stay and you would never repend for the money paid..

Fantastic location and helpful staff.”
The hotel is undergoing some renovations and this will only make it a much nicer place. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and accomadating. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. The bedrooms with a double bed are more roomy than those with three singles. For the price it cannot be beat. Location, location, location.

Good hotel for a price we paid ”
we were happy with our stay in this hotel. large, clean rooms - bathrooms quiet old but clean. make sure you will take a room far from a/c vents as they are very laud. breakfast very good and lots of food to choose from. avoid tuesdays as there is a karaoke night and it may be noisy. 15 min walking distance to the city centre and market. you will not find better for this money.

Decent hotel near Luxor Temple”
The Gaddis was clean. The staff spoke ok English. There was a man friendly with the management who was in the lobby and offered me tours around the area while I was being checked-in. The wi-fi was reliable. There were a number of shops and even a couple pubs very near to the hotel

Great value for money!”
managed to get some good deals on agoda, and thus got this stay really cheaply. the staff were generally friendly and helpful, room cleaners folded our towels into swans, which was nice (probably because we did tip them a little)

Great location ”
Difficult to find as not exactly on the Nile but this hotel has a great location and offers exceptional value for money. Egyptian breakfast with an acceptable standard and lovely bar! Not crowded by tour operators as I believe can only caters for small tour groups anyway! Definitely recommended!

Good hotel, helpful staff”
I cancelled my reservation in the allotted time, but Agoda tried to charge me one day by using Japanese/Chinese time instead of local time. The customer service was not helpful, but the hotel was very nice and accepted my voucher three days late! For this I really appreciate them and we closed our eyes at any possible problems. It seems that it saw better days, a member of the Royal family visited once for a few minutes many years ago - they have a letter and pictures to prove it. The pool is nice, the breakfast and Internet are good, the staff polite and pleasant. The tub in the bathroom could be cleaner. Overall this is three stars only by Egyptian standards, but this a problem with all the hotels in Egypt as far as I can tell.

Nicely located hotel”
We only stayed for one night. The hotel has free wifi. Breakfast isn't great but you can't ask much for this price.

Life made easy!!!”
A very pleasing one - from the moment I requested to visit a friend who was already staying their till the moment I said goodbye to the wonderful staff members, I had an absolute ball! From the odd meal in the restaurant to a few lively drinks whilst watching the start of the revolution in early July, all staff members were extremely helpful but more importantly, were very keen to talk and enjoy life whilst also discussing the deeper issues that Egypt currently faces. In shallah, I will be back!

Good value for money”
Rooms were satisfactory. The shower gave us some problems, even after it was supposedly fixed. Karaoke on Tuesday night was fun. We left around 12 midnight, and I think it went on till the wee hours, but couldn't really hear much from our rooms, so it was alright. The lower floors probably were not as lucky. Breakfast was okay.

Good location for a good price”
The hotel room was clean and a good bargain for a night. I was turned off when upon entering the lobby to check-in I was immediately approached by a gentleman offering me tours aggressively. Apparently he was a friend of the hotel management. This sort of thing is very typical in Egypt. Breakfast was ok. The Wi-fi was good
