Great in EVERY way!”
I was in Chiang Mai for a few days and booked Gategaa Village. We liked it so much we booked additional days in a different room there. Its a village with uniqueness in each room, and not the same style for every room. The beds used the best linens and perhaps the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The breakfast is very high quality and very sufficient without being an expansive buffet. I loved the architecture and design of the hotel, with pool on the roof. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I've stayed in many places in Chiang Mai, and this is now the top of my list.

A memorable experience in Chiang Mai ”
We spent 4 night here,and there were so many memorable things.Our room is on the 3F,and there is only one big room,so i was like we owned the whole floor! The room is clean and comfortable, the staff here are very friendly and helpful.The security guard help us carry two luggages up and down stairs,even if there is 6AM!So we are very thankful for all the things!If I go to Chiang Mai in the future,I will still choose Gategaa!

Lovely quiet and elegant place. Good breakfast..clean sheets and friendly helpful staff. Awesome rooftop pool. Rooms well appointed. Good value too. Easy to walk to cool local spots and a great break from the hustle bustle Improvement could be made to showers. Hard to get warm shower consistently...bad angle and flow...not a huge deduction...just a quibble. Overall we would definitely stay again at Gategaa...

Exceptional”
This place is very very good for your relaxing . I am really fall in love with all of the design and facilities. Breakfast is good and pretty various covering Thai and International with Thai dessert also. You can ride a hotel bicycle for taking a tour around the hotel to discover Thai tradition and local food in the morning til the night that will making you so amazing with Chaingmai. By the way, the car park is very limited if you come with your family you have to park 200-300 meter and walk to hotel. For the swimming pool, I found the fruit fly (tiny insect) covering the suface. I think you should get rid of them because the roof top view is very very surprisingly and romantic.

Clean, comfortable and fancy”
Booked 2 separate and different types of rooms. Both rooms were very nice and clean, shower was amazing!! Staff were very friendly and helpful with all needs. Rooftop was beautiful and property itself was very beautiful. Only disappointing feature was the bathtub, bathtub was outside but there were many bugs especially at night and did not feel comfortable going in.

Excellent service, gorgeous and spacious rooms and the whole vibe of the place was very aesthetically pleasing with tasteful decor. Staff were very helpful and accommodating of our requests for items like ironing board, envelopes and recommendations. Breakfast was simple but good enough- many cafe and eatery options nearby if you want to try something else. Great location - walking distance to night markets, restaurants and bars. Got around mostly by walking or taking the red taxi service (20 baht per ride). Would definitely stay here again when I visit Chiangmai next time!

A small hotel near the river, which is where the fun happens these days. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Shower was spacious. Breakfast was really good with lots of Western options and fresh fruit. And the room and hotel decor and design is really nice. Reception was very friendly and all had a smile on. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Stay in a quiet residential street of Chiang Mai”
My family had a fantastic time at Gategaa Village and it was by far and away the best of our accommodation in Thailand. The rooms are clean and well decorated and the property as a whole sits on an attractive plot with lush greenery surrounding. The pool on the roof is the perfect spot to cool down and watch the sunset after a day of exploring. Breakfast is superb with a wide range of cold buffet options as well as a choice of either a hot Western or Asian option. The Thai desserts were to die for!! I would definitely return in a heartbeat.

Loved the facilities, staff, breakfast, decor! Attention to detail in every way makes a pleasant, comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed a swim after our days out and the breakfast was delicious. A 10 min walk over the river into the town but staying here was worth it. Grab taxi was also easily available.

The room is totally worth. The bed is so comfortable. The staff also really nice. After checked out, the hotel gave some complimentary snacks for us. It’s so impressive! But the parking lots was hard to find due to the limited area and also it’s quiet dangerous at night to walk from the parking to the hotel.

New Hotel with interesting design”
We were here during coronarovirus and were not able to finish as planned. So we hope to come back. Very good price for comfort and quality of breakfast. Nice swimming pool on the roof, small but nice GYM with new equipment. Would be good to have small wardrobe

Lovely hotel in chiangmai”
I had a great time at Gategaa. The room was very well designed and had a unique character. I love the decoration of the arts within the hotel. They seemed to be from local artists which were not cliche or “crafty”. Their breakfast was great too! The only thing is the noise level. Other than that, my experience there was great and I would be happy to return to Gategaa again! :)
