This hotel is surprisingly cosy hotel with pretty much all the facilities that you needed with swimming pool, a gym and a small bar and couple of restaurants. The staffs are well mannered and attentive.

The rooms are a bit old but reasonably clean. However the sewage of the water closet was not functioning very well. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with lots of choices from Western or local foods.

The room's insulation is not good. We can hear the sounds, whatever the toilet water while bathing or voice when people talk. And the layout of the room is kind of weird, such as the sofa face the door of WC, the large bed is two small beds put together, and the window and TV location aren't right anyway. But the hotel staff is friendly.

Staff do not speak English.”
The bedroom is spotless and comfortable. There is an indoor pool but its not heated. There are 3 smaller heated pools but they are rather small and become cramped with too much people. Staff do not know the words pancake or omelette at breakfast. Breakfast is totally Asian. No cheese,no pancakes,no omelette and no croissants at breakfast. When I enquired if I could have an omelette the staff ran away. Only to return at least 45 minutes later with a soggy scrambled egg. Its disappointing that this is a four star hotel and the lack of love in the breakfast is disheartening. I come to a hotel to relax and have someone make me feel as if its special. I booked a twin bedroom but only found one towel in the bathroom. I am sure that most hotels provide at least two towels when it is a twin bedroom. This hotel can be great but the staff need to learn at least some English to make things smoother for guests.

A Hotel worth its value”
I understand the overall rating of this hotel is not impressive online. However, considering the price it charges, I still give them 5 stars. We checked in at night in Christmas. The front desk is shorthanded with only staff. She had to miss calls while helping me. The swimming pool is under maintenance, but the sauna pools are spacious enough for my children. The beds are comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to ask for corner room as you can hear people chatting when they walked down the isle.

Staff was nice, and I loved being able to see windmills from the window, but I was not happy with the room despite being “upgraded.” The walls were yellowed over, carpet stained and torn. Most things were hidden or put in hard to find areas. Lighting was horrible and not a single outlet next to the bed. The thing that really bothered me, was looking for a cartoon for my kid, but you had to pay for any movies you wanted to watch. Most 2 star hotels or even BnB’s will have movies for free, but this expensive hotel charges?
