Excellent hotel and well above its star rating. We couldnt believe this was ranked a 2 star hotel as it looks so amazing! Very nice design of the rooms and the garden, it looks as in the pictures or even better! The rooms were very clean and the staff is absolutely amazing, so nice and polite and always with a smile on their face. The breakfast was in the garden which was very nice and in the shade and the food was very good. They also arranged laundry service for us which was very quick. They also have an open space at each floor that is very nicely decorated and has fans so you can stay and relax in the evening. All in all it was a great stay and we 100% recommend this hotel.

Our family stayed at Gord Chiang Mai and loved the hotel vibe. Front desk and breakfast staff were amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was top notch with a choice of 6 set menu choices ranging from eggs, pancakes, fruit and yogurt, Asian fare. There were snack and soft drink available free in the room too. Our room was spacious, clean with a industrial/minimalist bohemian vibe with a balcony that looked out to the mountains. The public spaces were decorated with lots of greenery, hanging plants and best of all, Koi fish ponds. A real relaxing treat in the middle of the old town . I’d definitely recommend Gord Chiang Mai if visiting Thailand. Great value for money.

Nice Place in the heart of Old Chiang Mai”
We stayed here for 3 nights in the family suite. We were traveling with 3 teenage girls. The hotel reception was very kind and accommodating when we arrived +1 more than our initial reservation was for (daughter convinced us to bring her friend :). The Gord is located in a cool part of town, not far to walk to markets and restaurants. Looks a bit like a treehouse! Breakfast was good and even the girls ate...tasty pancakes and fresh fruit. Facility was clean and front desk was polite and professional. I would stay here again if we ever return to Chiang Mai.

Perfect stay at Gord”
We just spent 4 days here at Gord and it was lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and the hotel grounds are very quiet and relaxing. It’s a smaller hotel so there is a bed and breakfast feel. It’s very close to the major destinations in old city (night market, Sunday walking market, Wat Chedi Luang, etc). The free breakfast was tasty and you had 5 options also with coffee and OJ every morning. The fish ponds were also a cute touch. Highly recommend!

Special experience for our Chiang Mai trip”
Gord Chiang Mai is a B&B, it has a good vibe for travelers to relax and enjoy the city. It’s close to night market, restaurants, tourist sights and shops. There are quite some hidden spots you will enjoy around that area. There is a lot of greens in the hotel, which attracts all kinds of birds and insects, and it was fun to watch them. The gold fish also make my son very happy, he would greet and watch the fish everyday. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 6 sets to choose from, but their extensive menu is also very good. We like the bed because they are both firm. Airco downstairs works better than the one upstairs in our loft. Hotel provides water and snacks every day, big plus in the hot days for sure~ If I could suggest, I would change the garbage bins to bigger size and with a lid to reduce smells, especially in the bathroom. It would also be nice to have extra shelf/cabinet in the bathroom, there is very little space around the sink to put our stuff. All in all it’s a good place to stay, I would recommend Gord ChiangMai to everyone.

Cute room, but very basic. 2 bedroom does not have doors, just a top and bottom level plus just 1.5 bathrooms. Still a great value for the price. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is just OK (go next door to Good Morning Tropical Cafe and ask for the Kao Tom or pancakes instead).

Very comfortable hotel”
Pros : Though the look from outside is quite small but when we enter the room it we were stunning of how big and comfortable it is. The decoration was mixed between old and new stuff with I think they good combination. Staff is very helpful and hotel location is really close to most important temples in City of Chiang Mai. Cons : as built with loft style so the wall is thin so you could hear some voice from room above especially in the toilet. But it is no big deal because we rarely heard anything if the toilet door was closed.

Situated in the centre of the city. Can easily walk to main attractions (or easy to get a ride anywhere if you prefer). Staff very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and you can relax outside in one of the many communal areas.

The property located in a quiet neighborhood hence not too far from center. Easy access by Roddaeng and taxi. Breakfast is delicious and all staff are helpful with extra services like rental cars. Our Duplex room is clean and got nice view to the garden. One minor issue was the sink drainage a little slow. Everything else was perfect.

My room is on the 3rd floor while this place doesn’t has the elevator. If you have the big luggage, it’s quite inconvenient. However, this place is very cozy, beautiful, plenty of space, comfortable, friendly staff with warm welcome. Anyway, this room has windows but no scenery view. Will be back again if there is a chance.

Kindest staff in Chiang Mai”
The room was clean and has a different quiet feeling, not too many rooms so there isn't so much noise. The staff were the kindest, they saw us waiting so early for the tour to pick us up and gave us a take away sandwhich and milk, I didn't even asked for it but they gave it on their own initiative. Would really recommend this to others.
