I travelled with my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary (vacation)Gift . Decided to book Grand Hotel Baglioni primarily for its location (5 min walk from SMN train station) and Tram stop T2 that will take you to Florence airport (Peretola) is just a few steps outside the Hotel. Bell, Front desk, cleaning service, restaurant (With great views), met all our expectations. It has an old world feeling, and away from majority of the tourist crowd(buy near enough and be at the hub if it).

Staying at Grand Hotel Baglioni is like going back in time as it is an old fashion luxury hotel with all the modern settings. The few rooms on the first floor, like the one we had, have a small terrace surrounded by trees and flowers, it takes in a semi private area of Florentine paradise.

Perfect staying experience and location”
Excellent Breakfast at rooftop restaurant in terms of food, services and scene. Room is very lovely with big bathtubs in the bathroom. The Handy device helped me to solve the IDD issue with calling back to DHL hotline in hk. The cleaning staff is also very friendly and helpful with helping me to find my brow pencil fell at the back of the dresser.

This hotel is a historic building located just across train station and very close to stores and restaurants. Just duck to one of the restaurants and cafe nearby for a sumptuous meal, especially during aperitif time. The breakfast was good and the city view from the restaurant was magnificent. Duomo and shopping center is just on walking distance. They don't provide iron and ironing board unfortunately.

Century old hotel within history centre”
Lovely century old hotel in great location. Short minutes walk to all attractions in Florence. Supermarket and lotsa great restaurants nearby. The family room is huge but the heater doesnt work properly sometimes. Minibar is free but they only refill it early morning during breakfast time. Breakfast is not bad but not great either compared to other 4-5 star hotels we stayed in Italy. Some strange smell in the toilets and construction work is ongoing during our stay. In overall, it is a good 3 night stay.

Excellent location near the Florence SMN Station. Its a Victorian style hotel with everything having a very distinct old-world design. We had booked a Junior Suite and the mini bar was free! Had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to all travellers and especially families traveling together.

Hotel breakfast was exceptional and the view from the restaurant was gorgeous with the Duomo so close you can practically touch it! Spacious rooms. FREE mini bar stocked with water, sodas and a few snacks, restocked daily! Great hotel.

Hotel was very centrally located, right opposite the train station of Florence. The staff were amazing, breakfast was also great. A decent hotel, with good amenities and a massive factor of being close to everything since it was centrally located. We had a free mini bar too, which was handy!
