A great escape”
Loved my stay at the site, very clean, social but plenty of room for privacy. Bruno is a great host and arranged cheaper boat rides for me and organised my onward destination too. Great guy.

Good value for money ”
We really enjoyed our stay! The bamboo bungalows are very basic, but sufficient. With the fan and the mosquito net there was nothing to complain about. For going to the beach you have 2 choices: The first beach is 50m to walk: It is nice to snorkel there, but the beach is a bit dirty. Thats why we chose most of the time a beach that you reach by 10 min walking. You pass by a very tiny nice village where you can get everything you need (food, drinks, bookings for activities, WIFI,...) and after the village there is the wonderful beach! the water is cristal clear and the sand is white! When there is low tide, the water goes far away and you cannot really swim, but therer is a nice hotel with a great swimming pool that you might use... ;)

Overrated ”
Green beach camping is clean, well located if you like things quiet and very basic. If you are looking for basic accommodation with no frills, this is for you. Disregard all other amazing reviews, as there is no restaurant, no bar and the owner is surly at best. There is nowhere to hang out, and everything is being sold off piece by piece, with things disappearing every day. There is no wifi and no breakfast. There is no toilet paper or any such comforts, not even a single cushion on a chair to make for an inviting place to sit. So expect nothing, especially not any kind of inviting or warm ambience. if you decide to stay here, make sure you leave first thing in the morning and don't lcome back until ready to go to beD. If you are lucky, there will still be beds and mosquito nets when you Get there.

The best decision we ever made!”
Bruno and his wife make this an excellent experience for anyone daring enough to pass through. The camp site is petite yet full of life. Travelers quickly become friends with others trekking to adjacent bays during low tide before sharing a family meal in the evening. There are no frills attached just genuine good people, vibing out having an amazing time. Thanks again Bruno!!!

Nice and quiet location. Near to nice beaches, verry close to a nice village. Camping nice. Bed just so hard. Clean. No lock on the room so you have to leave your passport as a deposit !!! Possibility to book koh phi phi Lu tour at the camping (cheap)

awesome place”
Excellent a little difficult to get to but when you get there it's an amazing place. The location is a blessing and a curse. The reason it's so lovely is because it's not on the touristy part. A different side to touristy phi phi!! They cooked as an absolutely lovely meal and were very friendly!

Best Value for Location! ”
I was a solo backpacking traveler who decided to stay in the dorm rooms. The beds are very comfortable, the mattresses are a little on the firmer side but I prefer a firmer bed in warmer climates. Although the rooms don't have air conditioning they do have two fans that oscillate and seem to work well for me. The dorm rooms are kept really immaculate. They have shared shower and shared washroom facilities which are very clean and very comfortable to use. The location is about 50 meters from Loh Lana Bay which is practically deserted after the tourists boats leave for the day (after 5ish). Green beach is located near a small village that serves mostly a large resort located on another bay. In the village there are a dozen bars, restaurants, shops, stores and places to book tours. Green Beach also runs a small bar / restaurant. They serve beverages and a limited menu. You can also rent gear and swim or walk to amazing snorkelling located 300m from Loh Lana beach or you can walk 20 minutes to an adjacent bay. I thought it was funny that many people charter boats to visit sites that we can walk to! Green Beach's walkability helped stretch my budget further. The average price for one person is 600 baht to Loh Lana but it goes down with more people. You can also walk to Green Beach but understand it's more of a hike. Many guests did it with their packs and it takes about an hour. (The hike is beautiful!) Unfortunately, Phi Phi is generally much more expensive than the rest of Thailand. The only down side to Green Beach is there is a large 64 villa resort being built around it (eta unknown) so the quiet, secluded paradise will soon be gone so don't wait to visit! Half the charm and beauty of green beach is that it's located next to the jungle so just know that there are snakes, fireflies, horned beetles, leaf insects, etc. Also, they do not supply WiFi so you'll have to connect in the village. Overall I loved this place!

Decent budget place”
Stayed in one of the dorm bungalows. It was quite hot even with the fans on all night, as there's not much breeze that comes in. The bungalows are set about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach with the mountains rising up in the background. Simple but clean rooms and bathrooms outside. There's a village nearby (10-15 minutes walk) with lots of good food options. The main thing I would recommend is for better directions on the agoda page for this place, as when we arrived in Tonsai harbor the boat took us to the complete wrong part of the island after we showed them the address agoda sent us. Best way to get to this place is to walk through Tonsai strip to the beach on the other side and then take a boat to Lana Bay. Saves a lot of money that way.

Chillout camping”
It felt like camping in childhood. Atmosphere was relaxed, Bruno and his family helped organising water taxi (in and out), cooked nice dinner for everyone. Rooms and showers very clean! The place is far away from pier with overcrowded streets and you can reach it only by water. Although the village is just 5-10min by foot and there you can find lovely bars and restaurants. There are 4 beaches, the closest is just 2min way. Loved our staying there and would repeat it definitely!

Relaxation at its peak ”
Had a great time at Green Beach. A pick up service can be arranged from the ferry by a long boat at a discounted rate. The camping resort is 50m walk from a quiet beach with other beaches close by. 5 minute walk to a small village for food and drink. Long boat tours can be arranged if there are enough people. Good bar area to relax at.
