The hotel is beautiful, clean, and a great location in Old City (In walking distance to tons of stores, temples, and restaurants). The staff was so friendly and helpful and they spoke English well. The restaurant was one of the best parts. The price includes a gorgeous breakfast with choice of coffee drink or tea, plus a fresh squeezed juice. You then get to start with either yogurt or muesli with fruit, followed by your main meal (traditional Thai breakfast, potatoes, pancakes, etc.). This was a huge value for the price - not to mention the seating area is filled with beautiful plants and teak furniture in a semi outdoor setting that is very peaceful. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We had an especially beautiful view from the balcony. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely do so again if we get the pleasure of traveling back to this incredible city.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!”
We LOVED Green Tiger House!! The staff are wonderful and so welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. There's a luggage elevator so no hauling your bags up flights of stairs. We loved the outdoor/indoor dining and lounge area. The breakfast is unbelievable and free, so many delicious options. The lunch and dinner menu is also fantastic and the prices can't be beat for the quality. Every morning they get a food delivery, super fresh and all Vegetarian/Vegan friendly. Great location, we walked to all the major Temples, there's a food market just outside of the North walls (where the cowboy hat lady is), we walked to the River and Night Bazaar (it was a long walk, but we enjoy walking). Felt very safe at night. Overall one of our favorite places we've ever stayed!!

An amazing time in Green Tiger House”
I was actually recommended by my friend, and it was over my expectations. The room was very clean and neat, also, space was enough for me (would have been enough for 2 as well). The staffs were very kind and nice, and I loved their facilities including the swimming pool and the terrace on the 4th floor. The highlight was the breakfast which is included in the cost! It's all plant-based, very fresh and delicious; I mean not like any michelin star rated restaurants, but back-to-basic! If you are sitting in the restaurant on the first floor during breakfast hours, you will be able to see deliveries of fresh ingredients.

Best Hotel in Thailand!!”
We stayed in hotels ranging $300 a night to $50 a night and I have to say this was by far my favorite place! Not only was the staff accommodating they were very helpful in helping us with transportation and sightseeing. The breakfast was phenomenal We still talk about it 3 weeks later! The location was central but hidden enough. The rooms were comfortable and the water pressure/temperature was amazing!(something we struggled with throughout our trip) and not to mention chiang mai was our favorite location in thailand.. i would consider flying +20 hours again if i could stay at the green tiger house and hotels similiar. I cannot rave enough!!

My husband and I LOVED Green Tiger House!! Amazing location in the Old City - we were able to walk most everywhere if not being picked up for a tour. One of the best parts was the FOOD. We are not vegan or strictly plant-based, but the food was so delicious and the service was incredible. The breakfast that came with our stay started our Thailand mornings off right. We even received souvenir aluminum bottles upon check in! Clean room with all the necessities. We have already discussed staying at Green Tiger next time we visit Chiang Mai. A wonderful place to stay”
We really have fond memories of our time staying at Green Tiger. The rooms were simple yet comfortable and the general ambience of the place is very Chiang Mai. We demolished our very generous breakfasts every morning and had many other meals at the attached Reform Cafe. Our boys had a lovely time cooling off in the pool also after a day of sight seeing. Happy to recommend and can't wait to come back and stay again.

I loved this hotel. The staff were just amazing and friendly. They were so helpful with trying to book stuff. They also spoke great english. We had two twin beds in our room and I thought it was very spacious. We pretty much walked everywhere, which was also nice. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Every morning we would go down and have breakfast and they had such a variety of things. You could have pancakes, omelets, etc. You would order off a menu and then they would make it and bring it to you. It was a great way to start the morning. I absolutely would stay here again!

Great Restaurant and Comfortable Room for a Great Price!”
I cannot recommend staying at Green Tiger House enough. The restaurant downstairs has some of the best food in Chiang Mai (it's vegan, but don't let that deter you if you're a meat eater. There is a lot of great vegan Thai food). The room was also very clean and comfortable an the price was unbeatable.

Amazing ”
We stayed here for 3 days and Shangri-La for 3. We prefer Green Tiger. Family vibe. The staff were incredible with my children. I’m a single mom of a 5 and 2 year old and my kids could run around during breakfast. The house cats and dogs were amazing. The vegan food was amazing. Banana pancakes are to die for. We wished we had stayed here the whole time. Only negative if you have small kiddos is there isn’t much to do for them. It was fine for us because every day was full of tours and aight seeing. But not good for a day of hanging out. It’s also located so close to everything. We walked everywhere. Try to plans a visit around Sunday so you can see the Sunday night market.

The two course breakfast was a highlight with many options on their menu to choose from and the staff was so friendly, and accommodating to any questions or concerns! The location was in walking distance to markets, bars with live music and plenty of temples to take in. We look forward to returning to Chang Mai and Green Tiger!!

One of the best hote that I have ever been too. The room is clean and comfortable. The whole hotel just gives u a very relaxing feeling. Staff is very friendly there and it makes you feel like home. The restaurant downstairs also serve super delicious and affordable vegan food. Give this hotel a try if you are ever in Chiang Mai.

Brilliant place to stay!”
We absolutely loved Green Tiger House. It was our first base in Thailand after a long flight and was everything we could have wanted. The restaurant area is lovely - really cosy and nicely decorated with a really chilled vibe. The pool is gorgeous, and we really appreciated the hotels efforts to be eco friendly (metal straws, recycling, refillable metal water bottles). I’m not a vegan so wouldn’t personally chose to eat a vegan breakfast every day but there was loads of choice and I felt satisfied! The bed was super comfy and the shower lovely and hot and powerful. And finally the staff were just absolutely great. What a place.

Great location, great food. Easy and cheap to get laundry service if needed. They provided my airport transfer and held my belongings after check out. In walking distance to many nearby attractions and all of the taxi/ Tuk Tuk drivers we used were familiar with the property. This made getting around very easy.

Excellent location, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. We had a top floor room, excellent view, but not for those who do not like stairs. Room very quiet for noisy city. No coffee facilities in room, but 24 hr station at end of hall. Really commend this hotel for it's green practices!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Green Tiger Hotel and we loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations to go to in Chiang Mai! Even though were not Vegans, we enjoyed the food including the great breakfast very much! The location is absolutely convenient with walking distance to many nice temples and lovely restaurants! After a long day the small swimming pool is a welcoming refreshment. Anytime again! Highly recommended!

Excellent Hotel”
The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in our two months travelling around Thailand. The hotel areas looked like something from a magazine. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were little touches which were thoughtful e.g. a gift of a metal water bottle on arrival and free refills, and insect repellent incase you needed supplied on the tables. If I went back to Chang Mai I would definitely stay there again.

A brilliant hotel, in a great location, eco friendly and with lovely and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast is fantastic, and the restaurant serves delicious food. It was our first visit to Thailand, and although neither of us are vegan, we would certainly consider it if the food back home was this tasty! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Green Tiger House has it all -- wonderful accommodations, beautiful views of the mountains, delicious food, and super friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing and always gave us a great start to our long days of sight seeing. If my husband and I ever return to Chiang Mai, we would undoubtedly stay here again!

Amazing little hotel”
Set just inside the old town walls, the Green Tiger House is a brilliant find. We arrived and was told we were given a free room upgrade with our own little balcony. Staff were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is all vegan and it was one of the nicest breakfasts we had while in Thailand (we are not vegans). Certainly would stay again.
