Maybe one of the oldest Hop Inns”
Hop Inn have a standard across Thailand that is very good. One thing I noticed on the older Hop Inns is the general maintenance could become a problem. This hotel maybe one of the oldest I've stayed at, and as such I did notice paint peeling and chipped and cracked tiles in the bathroom. Hallways with scratch marks. Generally, the staff are very good at their designated job, but to be a very good hotel, staff have to think beyond their job at times. They have to report problems they see and not just think someone else will fix it. Another example I witnessed was, a mini bus of old Thai people arrived and an old lady was having trouble with her bag. A staff member cleaning kept cleaning. I would have expected that person to jump to the rescue. Simple things that make guests feel important.

Good Choice for budget travellers”
A very clean comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. The beds are great and although the rooms are small they have everything you need. One small problem was on the day of check-out your key seems to be locked the first time you leave the room, this happened twice to me as I booked two separate stays; I wanted to get an early start and left the room at 6am to load some items, I could not re-enter my room and it took quite some time to sort out so my early plan was a bit ruined (Check-out time is 12noon and this is when keys should become locked).

A Franchise Hotel for Budget Traveler ”
Hop Inn is a Thai owned hotel chain found in many province cities. It is very simple and basic geared for the 1-2 day visitor who wishes to stay in a clean, “no frills” hotel with good security, decent AC, water heater, and TV. The beds are soft and comfortable. The rooms are very small but functional and clean. This hotel chain always has a parking area. No restaurant but there is a microwave to use in the lobby and a small fridge to store your food from a 7-Eleven .

Was here just for a quick sleep while passing through to Laos. No complaints. A bit run down but it's clean and comfortable. A short walk to the bus station.

Good as always, by Hop Inn's standard. Anyway if you expect sth for breakfast, there is only frozen food for sale and free coffee form coffee machine. Location is good if you have a car, always a lot of safe parking space. Free Wifi, Comfy bed

The building and the appliances are quite old. The airconditioner and refridgerator make a lot of noise. The staffs are very nice. Although this is a budget hotel, it is still a chain hotel, you can expect security in this place.

Location to the Mukdahan bus station”
Hop Inn was very clean, efficient staff & a short walk from the Mukdahan bus station which I needed to get to in order to catch the first morning bus to Laos. A night market, again, a short walk in the opposite direction of the bus station was very lively (I was there during the World Cup) and it had everything you could want or need. If I needed an overnight stay, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Hop Inn.
