Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff. As an improvement would suggest having a kettle in the room.

The pro was the location which was in the heart of Parma. The cons are as follows. First, the room was incredibly humid despite having the air on on. An issue that needs to be addressed. The second issue was the parking. The only option is a 16 minute walk from the hotel. It was over 100F degrees when we were in Parma. Not a great option.

Perfect location, no frills hotel”
Parma isn't exactly the biggest city in the world so the city center pretty much contains everything you need to see when you visit the city. Now, the hotel is smack inside the city center, so practically everything is walking distance from the hotel--the major attractions like Piazza Garibaldi, all the restaurants and bars. So if you need a hotel with a good location, this hotel gets my vote. However, the hotel itself is extremely old--rooms are spacious but the furniture are all so tired. I am somewhat obsessive compulsive when it comes to cleanliness and the rooms were dusty by my standards. Beds weren't great and air-conditioning system was quite bad. I had turned the nob down to get the air-condition to the coldest possible given the summer heat and I was still sweating in my bed. I really would not spend more than a night in Parma since one day is all you need to tour the city. That being said, I'd stay here again. For the price, I'd just wing it.
