Perfectly comfortable hotel with perfect service and location!”
We had a perfectly comfortable stay at the Hotel Degli Orafi. Our suite was spacious, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and our requests were always promptly addressed. Breakfast was scrumptious with a view of Arno river. Location is excellent - you will walk through the Piazza della Signoria to go to various sights, so make sure to hang out in the evening for surprise performances at the square. It was overall one of our best hotel experiences (and we've been to 40+ countries). We will definitely stay at the Hotel degli Orafi again next time we visit Firenze. Highly recommended!!!

Almost perfect”
Great hotel with FANTASTIC location. It's mere steps from the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and plenty of places to eat. Short walking distance to Duomo and other destinations in this very walkable city. The staff is amazing. They got me into my room early sensing my jetlag and accommodated any request I made. Luisa was very helpful with clearing up confusio about which bus station to use for a day trip to Cinque Terre. They will also call you a cab which arrives very quickly. The hotel and room was extremely clean, I did not use maid services, they delivered extra towels,etc immediately upon request. The breakfast selection is HUGE but is only served 7-9, although they don't seem to be tyrants about the cutoff as I observed on my last morning. My only complaint is the mattress was EXTREMELY firm. Luckily I was slept fine from all the walking/tiredness. The linens were very nice. Bath sheets and a towel warmer in the marble bathroom.

Beautifully Tuscan Gem”
Such a pretty hotel in a great situation just outside of Siena’s walls with stunning views from rooms and terrace. Beautiful historical building. Room large and typically and simply furnished. Staff could not be more helpful, lots of really interesting local knowledge to enhance understanding of area - arranged trips for us - extremely personable. Wished we had stayed longer-would definitely return.

We stayed here for the final night of our honeymoon. Although we were only there for one night, we were very well treated by the staff. Wish we could've stayed longer! A little far from Florence's main station, but the hotel is just 2 minutes away (on foot) from Ponte Vecchio.

Ideal hotel for Florence”
The hotel is ideally located for seeing the main sites of Florence and also for the wanderer as there is so much to see in the smaller roads and lanes. Some really good restaurants within a stones throw. The hotel itself is welcoming, clean and smart with many historic features. With one exception (obviously having a bad day) the staff were all friendly and helpful. Would we stay here again - definitely.

Aperitivo at the terrace on the 7th floor is a must have experience... as well as breakfast in the hall at 3rd floor, so nicely decorated. Personal is superb, they seem to know you, what you like and what you don’t... rooms are a little small, but you are in old Florence: this is not a recently built town

Very good hotel in a very good location”
the hotel is absolutely near the river and ponte vecchio bridge. there are 2 types of rooms. i was in the very big apartment with a kitchen and 2 rooms. only thing that i didnt like was that there was no view and the floor was from stone. but other things were all great, plus the breakfast is superb.

The hotel is in very convenient location, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful .... The Room is spacious and comfortable .... Only thing is the garage was a bit expensive with 35 Euro a night , other than that, it was a perfect stay !

Excellent stay in the heart of Florence”
Great location and staff. Nice view from the small rooftop, where you can see Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo and a piece of Ponte Vecchio. Comfortable bed and pleasant amenities. The breakfast is nice in a beautiful hall. I arrived by a rental car, and the hotel will contact you a valet parking service at a cost of 35 Euro (it can vary according to the car size).

GREAT LOCATION, GREAT HOTEL”
This was a great stay. PERFECT LOCATION only a few steps off the PUNTA VECCHIA bridge. Our first night we asked the front desk how much time we had to give to get to our tour of the UFITZI the following morning and they said 1 minute. IT IS NEXT DOOR. The ROOM was very large, a small apartment, very nice, but a little on the HOT side. Spoke with the front desk and they had someone come up and put the AC on high. Additionally they provided us with fans. The Facilities were well kept, but the hallways were a little confusing. The Breakfast was NICE, the room was pretty. The Rooftop bar was very nice, with great views from both sides and a nice feature. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel. Pleasant bar on the top floor. We were surprised to find a pair of t-shirts on the bed on the first night. Helpful staff. Great central location. Close to lot of must see sights and not far from the duomo etc. We'll stay here agin on our next visit to Firenze.
