I want my money back”
I took my father to Italy for his 85th birthday. I reserved two singe rooms at the Hotel Europa in Foggia for 1 night through Agoda and prepaid the 72 Euro per room fee. We arrived on March 10th as scheduled. Per instructions I had a printout of the reservation. We were told that the Hotel was completely booked and they had no rooms for us. They brought us around the corner to the Hotel Venezia. Our rooms were small, cold, dirty and totally unpleasant. To add injury to insult, the rooms were posted at 50 Euros each. With the exchange rate I lost about $60 PLUS had to stay in an unfit room. I demanded a refund and was told it would have to come from Agoda. I have received nothing.
