The double bed room is spacious and clean. However the window is facing inside the hotel so it is no use to open coz you will get the cigar smokes inside your room. Yup sometimes the cigar smoke/smell is strong inside the hotel and in the room coz some guests smoke in their rooms. The TV channels are not stable but it is ok than not having tv at all. The hotel is too far from eateris and restaurants, far from any convenient shop, far from atm machines, far from interesting places but near to Bukit Bius. I used Foodpanda to order food. No Grab is available in the town and taxi is scarcely spotted here. Even the taxi station is empty. At night the area is too quiet and dies out. If you want a better area as a backpacker, i recommend looking for hotels near Dataran Sejarah or the hotels near the train station in the old town. Coz they got all the amenities required by a backpacker.

The hotel looks better from outside ! The room had a mildly wall. The sheets were old with holes in. The blanket really didn't seem clean. The water machine was really dirty. Just a feeling of an old run down hotel that needs modernization. The area surrounding the hotel is run down also. If you need a late night stop this is acceptable just old and tired.
