The perfect hotel with a lot of charm and history!”
It is the most charming hotel we have ever been to! The building is in the heart of the Florence and it is 800 years old! It has so many original details! Beautiful garden is simply perfect to start your day in with a perfect cup of coffee and snacks amazing breakfast! As well it is a perfect place to have a spritz after a long day of walking and side seeing. Staff is friendly. Erica was so helpful and knowledgeable. She covered every question from the history of the hotel and Florence to the safe banking and shopping places! Love her attitude and passion! Location of the hotel is amazing. Short walking distance to all major attractions! Hotel is clean and I loved the smell ( it is important for me 😃❤) We will come back for sure. We found our happy place in Florence.

professional staff and reception ”
before I stayed here, I had heard about racism problem in staff here, but I never felt about it. Reception and information were very professional and accurate. Almost staff remember me where I went to or I stay. Whenever I came back, the room was cleaned up and renewed. I found delicate details on cleaning room , for example, the way of arranging of curtain depends on time or small chocolate on bed side. the laundry service was nice and parking space was close and inside of hotel. I wanna stay here again if I go to Firenze in the furure.

Agoda do it again”
Booked with Agoda after they found us a beautiful Hotel last year in Venice. The Mona Lisa was another gorgeous Hotel but with an extra special breakfast the best so far in Italy. Staff assisted with luggage kept us topped up with coffee at breakfast and recommended two very good restaurants with in walking distance. Loved the decor in main areas and had a lovely room No5 with small terrace and outlook into beautiful garden. Would recommend to anyone. 20-30min walk from Station past Duomo. Thanks for a memorable stay.

The staff was exceptional!! Breakfast was so nicely done in a gorgeous room overlooking the garden. The mineral water is free in your room daily . They even supplied a “box breakfast” to go on the morning we left . It was put in a sovereign cloth bag with the Mona Lisa hotel on it. They were helpful in booking excursions as well .

I spent four nights in Florence as a solo traveler. ”
The facility is beautiful with exquisite furnishings. The staff was very helpful by offering to verify my prearranged tours and arrangements. Map and verbal instructions were clear for finding my way around the city. Nice to have such a friendly place to return in the evening.

Wonderful Hotel with great staff that were very helpful. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay 2 more days and added and few other Cities for sight seeing. The breakfast was fantastic and had a array of choices to choose from, the whole family enjoyed it.

I don't get the reviews that call this spooky. Sure, it is an old building, but that is what you should be looking for if you book here. If you want a Hilton with a spa, you should book a Hilton. The common areas are wonderful. They harken back to a more elegant time and are filled with charm. Breakfast is wonderful, as is the caring and sweet staff. I'll admit that the rooms are basic. Our double didn't have a shower, only a tub with a shower head and no shower curtain. But we didn't spend our time in the room.
