Overlooking Lake Lugano, 3 km away, Albergo Ristorante Stampa is set in the village of Cadegliano Viconago, outside Ponte Tresa. It offers a Lombard restaurant, an outdoor pool, and rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite LCD TVs. Some rooms at the Stampa feature a balcony with views of the lake. Wonderful location, stellar staff”

Sight and food

It was the only hotel with a decent price on the Italy-Switzerland border. It was a nightmare to reach it (use the road from Marchirolo, not the direct one from Ponte Tresa, I destroyed a wheel on that one). Once there, everything was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful, the sight is amazing and so is the food. Absolutely worth it.
