I traveled with my 3 sisters and we stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The hotel is not brand new and modern but it is kept very clean and tidy. The front staff is super nice and very helpful! We first came to check-in, we were offered with refreshments (water, orange juice, cranberry juice). Everyone at the front desk/staff were very kind, especially Eleonora who helped us with directions, best places to shop and eat! She was very sweet and always greeted us with a smile. The concierge staff is very fast! We requested for a bucket of ice in our room, not before long, we got it right in front of the door. The hotel location is excellent! It is central and next to the train station (S.M Novella Station). We didn't have to take any public transportation to get to all the famous attraction places. The hotel also has a small workout gym located in the basement. It is really a small gym but it is very clean and the equipments are functional. Excellent hotel with great hostility!

This hotel is really well situated in the historic area - about a 5 minute walk to the Duomo; surrounded by great restaurants, shops, etc. It's a lovely property. The rooms are elegant, well-updated and very clean. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety - including a few gluten free options!

Really nice and well mantained hotel. Very close to S. Maria Novella train station and to many main city attractions. Our room was simple but functional and clean. Breakfast was nice with good variety (both English and Continental). Staff (and Eleonora in particular) was kind and available to provide us any information nedded to enjoy our stay. I reccomend it. Hotel davvero bello e ben curato. Molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria di S. Maria Novella e alle principali attrazioni della città. La nostra camera era semplice ma funzionale e pulita. La colazione era buona con buona varietà (sia inglese che continentale). Il personale (e Eleonora in particolare) è stato gentile e disponibile a fornirci tutte le informazioni necessarie per goderci il nostro soggiorno. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Strategic location and worth the money”
The hotel is near Santa Maria Nouvella Station 10 mins walking distance ; which is situated in the Firenze downtown. Public transport like taxi, train and trams are also available. You can take the train to Rome (Roma termini) for about one and half hour and its really convenient. The double room is mesmerizing with roma background landscape (paintings and wall) and this makes us feel that we are in the ancient era. The toilet is also clean and it comes with hairdryer. In short, this hotel is perfect for business traveller and those who are on vacation.

Perfect location, very nice hotel”
The location for Hotel Roma couldn't be better: walking distance to all the main Florence sites, the train station and the new T2 tram to the airport. its location directly on the south end of Plaza di Santa Maria Novella gives it a sense of light and openness not found at most hotels in Florence and it's far enough away from the train station that it is insulated from the noise and crowds there. Plenty of restaurants and fun bars, as well as laundry facilities, within a block. Staff, room and general condition of the hotel are all good. There are slight signs of aging and the staff is very perfunctory but efficient and effective. There is always free juice out, a nice touch, and the breakfast is very generous, including eggs, fruit, meats, musli, etc. If it does not come with the package you bought (like what we bought through Agoda) you can get it for 10 Euro per person - well worth it.

Very good location, 6 minutes walk from train station and close to everything else in Florence. Rooms are comfortable, covered with carpet (a bit smelly). Breakfast is great good quality food and nice variety.

A 3-star hotel in the perfect location”
The hotel is partially under (much-needed) renovation and staff is not always as helpful and cheerful as you would expect from a 4-star in the historical centre. Having said that, rooms are fully functional, comfortable and clean and the location is as good as it gets. Prices reflect the overall offering and make it worth the stay. I would come back. Tip: request a fully renovated room for the full 4-star experience.

Great location, 7 min walk from the train station. Quite neighborhood for a good night sleep. Ok breakfast ( not enough variery for a 4 star hotel) The mattress wasa bit too soft for us but thats very subjective. 20 min walk to the main square. Overall we would stay here again.
