    Hotel San Giuseppe Dimora Storica is set in a 16th-century farmhouse typical of the Puglia region, only 300 metres from the sea in Otranto's historic centre. It offers air-conditioned rooms. San Giuseppe is just a few steps from the Castello Aragonese and many of the town's shops, cafés and restaurants. All rooms have been restored in a modern style that nonetheless preserves the flavour of the old farm.They feature high ceilings and tiled floors, and are equipped with a minibar and satellite TV. Every morning you can enjoy a breakfast buffet made with fresh local ingredients and later relax with a drink out on the terrace. The hotel is in central Otranto, but outside the restricted traffic area so you can easily reach it by car.

    A most enjoyable 4 night stay”

    Good location just 5 mins walking distance from the inner city. Very comfy, stylish, clean and quiet bedroom albeit without a window. Access to bedrooms is through a French window opening onto a private curtained space. Spacious bathroom. Nice staff. Great breakfast with lots of freshly homemade delicacies. Excellent value.
    Parking available only in a nearby open air car park at a reduced rate.

    Very comfortable bed and good bathroom, very nice breakfast. Staff very friendly.
    We were told we were in a 'suite' but it was basically just a bedroom with a small overlooked patio area outside that everyone going in/out of the hotel walks past. For a suite, I would normally expect extra seating area, kettle maybe a small kitchen etc. This was just a reasonable size room with a bed and a nice bathroom. There is no window in the room other than a shutter in the door which means anyone walking past can see straight in.

    amazing location, on a quiet street just outside the Center, making it very easy to walk everywhere. easy parking. amazing breakfast. cute rooftop patio for aperitivo. staff was super helpful. facilities were immaculate every day. great cappuccino. every room has its own little outdoor area which is perfect for a coffee and a quiet read or a glass of wine

    Lovely building carefully restored. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, natural yoghurt and ample fresh fruits. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and most spoke good English. The air conditioning was more than able to keep our room cool even though it was 34-degrees outside!
    No oats or muesli available at breakfast, but then again that's not a very Italian staple, so is to be expected.

    Very cool in a hot location”

    SAN Giuseppe is in a fantastic location for the old town bars and restaurants. The staff, breakfast, room and the air con were all just brilliant. It was especially HOT during our stay so the super efficient air con was a blessing. We hired some electric bikes (mad in the heat, but great fun) and the staff assisted in the booking making the experience easy. Great hotel, thoroughly recommend.

    The breakfast buffet was wonderful, both quality and selection; the breakfast staff were friendly and so helpful with suggestions as to nearby attractions; location was fabulous, rooms very clean; good quality linens; rooms fully renovated
    No sound insulation between our room and the next; we were also next to the kitchen so lots of kitchen noises early in the morning; a bit too minimalist in that there are no drawers in the room (just open shelves and hangers) and no hooks and insufficient racks to hang towels in the bathroom or even just a wet swimsuit. No pool and spa closed due to renovations/remodeling

    A few days in Otranto”

    I liked the white colour of the hotel, cleanliness and the space. The staff was involved in making our stay enjoyable. They directed us to park, somewhere near the hotel. We had the privilege of being the first guests after the renovation. I enjoyed the breakfast, with all the homemade products, a good and nice cook!
    It was not so warm in the room, during the night! I think that wasn't working the climate for the heat. We said this to the staff and someone tried to fix it but in vain...

    The breakfast and staff were excellent.
    It was advertised as 4* but the rooms were definitely more like 3*. Based on the room quality, it definitely wasn’t worth the €90 per night rate. The bathroom had hair remaining from another guest.
