One of a kind”
This is a gem! We were drawn to Sheherazade by other reviews and the fact that they had a room large enough for our family of 4. The staff was fantastic and all tours arranged by them were wonderful! The owner did everything to make us feel at home. His artistic vision really impressed us and we can see the direction this place is headed! Drawbacks: wifi was out while we were there (the owner let us use his phone as a hotspot after they were unable to service it) and the A/C was no match for our 110 degree days. But we had the pool to ourselves every night to cool down. If you are expecting fancy hotels, keep looking. But if you want a true experience, you'll love this place as much as we did!

ナイル西岸の雑然とした街の一角に魔法のように現れるプチホテル。佇まいも可愛く、温かみがあっていい感じ。2泊しましたが、ルクソール観光の疲れが中和されるナイスな空気があります。オーナーもフレンドリーで、いろいろ気をつかってくれます。まあ、お湯は思うように出ませんが・・。 しかし何よりも、クレジットカードが使えないということが計算外で、非常に焦りました。

西岸のためアクセスが不便”
ナイル川西岸にあるため、空港へのタクシー代が結構高くなるのはかなりのマイナスポイント。スーツケースを持ってフェリーに乗って川をわたって東岸からタクシーを捕まえる方法もありますが、かなり面倒くさい。 部屋は広さがあり、バスタブもあるのでお湯がはれるほど。ただ、トイレとの仕切りのカーテンがないので、例によってびしょびしょになります。エレベーターもないので荷物を持って上がるのは結構しんどい。朝食はいたって普通。併設のレストランが野外にあり、まきで火を焚いてくれるので雰囲気はいいです。
