Before I booked this hotel, I've read a lot of reviews, and some were not that good, so my husband and I weren't really expecting much. But we were surprised to arrive at a grand hotel smack right in Zhungli. When I booked this hotel, I didn't even know it was 5-star, I just searched for a decent priced hotel near the airport (we had an early flight the next morning), ...Before I booked this hotel, I've read a lot of reviews, and some were not that good, so my husband and I weren't really expecting much. When I booked this hotel, I didn't even know it was 5-star, I just searched for a decent priced hotel near the airport (we had an early flight the next morning), but also at the same time with some activity - I do not want to stay next to a highway. We weren't disappointed. Admittedly, the area was a bit 'dead' when we went to search for lunch at 2pm. But come evening, the town became alive, and the best thing was the hotel was only 5 minutes away from Zhungli Night Market. We walked through the park opposite the hotel and it was a very relaxing last night in Taiwan for us. Because we were only there for a day, here's what we found: 1. Comfortable bed (always very important for us) 2. Clean 3. Quiet 4. Complete and good toiletries 5. Great service 6. Near the night market They do have other facilities as well but we didn't have enough time to explore the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to the airport @ 600TWD without traffic (6:30am!). So overall I think it was excellent. :) Will stay there again for a final night in Taiwan so as not to have to rush to the airport. In our one day's stay there we managed to go to Daxi for the flower oceans as well as the night market, so I would say our time was well-spent! :)

This hotel was such a pleasant experience. We live in Taiwan and have stayed in many hotels around the island and this one is one of the best. The rooms are clean and don't smell like cigarette as in most places we've stayed, including 5 stars hotels. We had dinner in the dim sum style restaurant and the food was amazing, the price was good for the portions you get. The facilities are nice and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, there's a huge variety, in my opinion the best hotel breakfast we've had in Taiwan. I'm vegan and there were tons of options for me. And finally the hydromassage pool was so good, you go through different stops that are numbered and massage different muscles, by the very end you feel so relaxed, I loved it. Oh! Also the hot spring tub and area in the room is very clean and spacious. All in all our experience in this place was amazing.

we had a great stay at fullon hotel jhongli. It was my 3rd time staying here and i could say that i feel safe and comfortable. it was near the train station and bus station so it was easy going to taipei and especially to gloria outlet which is just a bus ride. one negative comment only is that the room we stayed at was kinda old ( sofa have stains, bed is quite hard) ...we had a great stay at fullon hotel jhongli. Breakfast is simple with variety of bread, noodle, porridge, soup, fruits, salad & few other side dishes. Hotel guests are served with fried egg with ham, cup of juice / fresh milk & fresh fruit. The fact that this the hotel that is the many Esports tournaments are run. The room I stayed in had 2 legit gaming computers with 32” flat screens, with Asus powered rigs topped off with Cerebus keyboards and mice. Which made it very hard to leave, as I have a slight addiction to playing Destiny 2 and WOW. The location of the hotel is in Central Zhongli, close to bars like The River and Bar Soul, both Westerner geared and always happy to receiving new people. It’s a 5 minute walk away from a shopping block of stores cafes and assorted restaurants. It’s 15 minute walk to the Train station or a 20 minute Uber ride to the High Speed Rail station which means 2 stops or 15 minutes to Taipei. At the Taoyuan High Speed Station you will also find an outlet mall that has everything that you can find at better prices. Make sure to get you tax documents because you are tax exempt if you are visiting. The hotel serves food, breakfast buffet on mornings and you can order quickly off the computer or from the front desk. But right across the street is one of the best Taiwanese barbecue shops that have been doing this for years. It’s fast and it’s cheap and damn good. Don’t ask for hot sauce unless you are prepared for the consequences. All in all, I have stayed in many hotels in Taiwan, this one is going to be my first choice when I return.

I had a 24 hour layover between flights and a very late checkin so I was looking for the least expensive hotel I could find. I chose Central based on the reviews and couldn't be happier that I did. It's a little farther from the Airport than I would like and the opposite direction of Teipei city. What I found was a very well maintained hotel with no frills but very clean and super cheap compared to what I was looking at other hotels. For some reason the average price was hanging around $60 US to $80 US dollars just to sleep for a few hours. I got good value for what I received and can recommend this hotel to other thrifty travelers. I also stumbled upon the bus station within walking distance within 7 minutes or so. Bus fare to the airport was only NTD$62 and it took only 1 hour to get there. Cab fare to the hotel from the airport was NTD$575. I plan to bring my whole family here for a longer stay next time and plan on staying here at Central Hotel for our next visit to Taiwan.

A very nice and quality breakfast indeed for a 3 star hotel. As to the receptionists and hotel staffs, they are very accommodating. They tried their best to assist even though they cannot understand/speak English. Thank you very much, Cloud Hotel! We will definitely in this hotel again!

The receptionist can understand English and was very accommodating and kind enough to give a map of the mall, convenient stores, restaurant near the area. Infront on the other side is bus stop going directly to Taipei Main Station (bus 1212 I think). 7/11 is 5-10 mins walk from the hotel, the nearest convenient ...The hotel is nice, the place is homey and instagramable. Even they have only 2-3 staff on duty everyday, we were well taken ...We stayed here for 5 nights on 2/3/2015, I've been travelling a lot and this was my first stay in Taoyuan city,it was the best ever 4-star hotel I've ever stayed i can said. The 1st day i step into this hotel i can feel the comfort, pleasant and kindness from the ground staff till the last day we left. Even they have only 2-3 staff on duty everyday, we were well taken care by in every details. They were so helpful, carry smiles and greeting every minute you pass them. I was given a free upgrade, and this boutique hotel is brand new in Taoyuan, 5-10 minutes to Zhongli night market and 5-10 minutes to the nearest station. Around the hotel there are lots of eateries, shops and convenient store. They also provide self free laundry service at the roof top and coffee machine at the lobby. We really enjoy our stayed in Hotel Mu and for sure will be back again whenever I'll be in Taoyuan.

It suited my needs as a 63 year old English speaking businessman, nothing fancy, but clean and friendly. I had no problem booking at a moments notice, which suited my schedule. My van wouldn't fit in their underground garage so I parked next door and they refunded my parking fees. The Asian breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a huge selection of vegetables, steamed buns and good coffee. It's a safe,short walk to the night market area or downtown and a convenient location to get on the 114 or the freeways. Pleasant experience!

frankly, we were very disappointed when we arrived at the building. it looked like an old office block with no indication that this is a hotel. we were ushered to the the lift that took us to the 23rd floor that house the hotel lobby. it was one of those traditional and old fashion hotel lobby reminiscent of the 80s.let's just say this hotel has seen beter day sand...frankly, we were very disappointed when we arrived at the building. it looked like an old office block with no indication that this is a hotel. we were ushered to the the lift that took us to the 23rd floor that house the hotel lobby. it was one of those traditional and old fashion hotel lobby reminiscent of the 80s.let's just say this hotel has seen beter day sand passes it prime. however, we were very surprised by the size of our room. it was huge! we booked a junior suite and it turns our much bigger than we anticipated. it was at least 1.5 times the size of our suites we have stayed in and even bigger than our 2 900 sft condo apartment back in singapore.this was a great room, abielt still rather stuck in the 80s in its decor. we need some directions to a few tourist attractions including sun moon lake and the hsr station to get to taichung and the concierge a mr peter azuma was just superb. he researched all the details for us, printed the relevant materials and even called his wife at the visitor center at sun moon lake to take care of us. the porter was also exceptionally helpful and making all the taxi arrangements throughout our stay. all our misgivings about the facilities and age of the hotel vanished into thin air with this kind of staff and service, all the hotel needs is a major refurbishment to spruce up its appearance,then it should be able to rank alongside the very best in its category.

The bathroom was large, which we appreciated and water pressure was good. The hot and cold mechanism for the shower was simple and easy to use. We had twin beds and we found them comfortable, with 2 fluffy pillows on each bed. I earlier said not to be intimidated, because the location might not be as good, but the room we had was almost comparable to 4-star hotels. It was clean and the aircon was quiet and working well. No in-room bar, though, but not really a problem. TV channels are all Taiwanese so we weren’t able to use it. Breakfast buffet has several options, but really did not appeal to us as their menus are all Taiwanese food (we think). They provide all basic stuff including slippers. In summary, we liked our stay at Lido Holiday and with the amount we paid we like it better as it’s true value for money.

I was asked to move to another room. i had reserved the room at Clover House because I had a 6:00 am flight the next morning and wanted to be near Taoyuan airport. Actually, Clover House is not that close to the airport. Perhaps a 20 minute taxi ride at 4:00 am when there is virtually no traffic. i went out for a walk around the neighborhood. i found a hole-in-the-wall with good food. also found a good chinese medicine massage.

The room and facility were clean, if a little frayed at the edges. There were few electrical outlets, poor wi-fi, and few TV channels. For singles, couples, business, many other types of travelers, the facility would be okay, if a bit utilitarian. There is LAN in-room and two public use computers in a common area. In fact, two of the TV channels contained graphic sexual content suitable for adults only. My wife and ten year-old daughter were quite disturbed by our accidentally finding these channels. Staff on site were unable to successfully remove the channels from the channel list on the TV. Management was unavailable to assist or even accept a complaint.
