i have stayed in hoang loc villa for two days, it is a small homestay but everything is so cute and sweet, i love staying in the living room and talking to the reception girl named linh that is also the owner's daughter, she is so cute and helpful, she booked one day tour and airport pick up bus for me, and introduce many local resteraut such like oron(very nice hotpot...i have stayed in hoang loc villa for two days, it is a small homestay but everything is so cute and sweet, i love staying in the living room and talking to the reception girl named linh that is also the owner's daughter, she is so cute and helpful, she booked one day tour and airport pick up bus for me, and introduce many local resteraut such like oron(very nice hotpot), although the location is a little bit far from the view spots, but you may rent a motorbike from reception and make it easier, so generally speaking, this homestay made me feel better to dalat, and the price is cheap, so if i will definitely choose here again when i come back, and in the end, i wanna say, Linh, I miss u so much, ^_^

I stayed here for 3 nights, and it is a pretty good price to get a cozy room with a private toilet which is very clean and comfortable! The location is also nice, in the city center, I can walk to many places. The most important thing I want to say is about the service, 5 stars! Ok so lets get one thing straight, do not book this place if you are expecting to turn up and find yourself surrounded by picturesque mountain views, pine trees and tranquility. I am not going to sugarcoat it, I got quite a shock when I arrived here for my first trip to Dalat, expecting just that. This is a cheap budget option and is in fact situated on a very busy ma...Ok so lets get one thing straight, do not book this place if you are expecting to turn up and find yourself surrounded by picturesque mountain views, pine trees and tranquility. I am not going to sugarcoat it, I got quite a shock when I arrived here for my first trip to Dalat, expecting just that. This is a cheap budget option and is in fact situated on a very busy main road. However, as budget options go Mimosa is a goodun; hot showers, in-room cable TV and wifi all included. Plus a very sweet lady and old man to happily fill up the communal kettle should you feel the urge to make a pot of the famous Dalat artichoke tea. The picturesque mountain views, pine trees and tranquility are all close by on foot and even closer by on scooter. Dalat itself is definitely worth a visit, be sure to check out the market and eat lots of delicious veggie food. If you want to see the 'real' Dalat then this could also be the place for you. Upstairs from Mimosa is a popular 'Massage Parlor' which is regularly frequented during the night. During your stay you will undoubtedly bump into some ladies wearing noticeably short skirts on the stairway. Next door to Mimosa/brothel there is a bar which is popular with the locals and can also be a bit noisy at night. For some this could all sound like a worst nightmare, personally I found the situation quite amusing and I never felt unsafe. Ironically, something about this place had a sweet, homely feel. Sometimes it is nice to get a glimpse into the real Vietnam, not the super polished, touristic 'traditional' Vietnam that is generally on show.

The location of this hotel is excellent, with many restaurants nearby. There is also many stands with a street foods. City center is in walking distance. Hotel is new and very well maintained. The room was large and clean with nice furniture, the bed comfortable, the bathroom with beautiful ceramic tiles, clean and well kept, the hot water worked. There was a refrigerator, flat screen TV with good selection of cable channels and fast speed Wi-Fi so you can watch stream video from the Internet. The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and spoke good English. They helped to arrange bus tickets to Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Rang. This hotel is a very good value for the money. I will stay there again in the future while in Dalat.

Very, very unfriendly (no english speaking) stuff. We booked a room with breakfast and they wanted to let us pay for it. The room was simple but good, bed ok and shower was fine (most of the time). Clean service everyday wich you don’t expect for this price. The laundryservice was cheap but they return the laundry wet so you have to hang your clothes all over the room ...Very, very unfriendly (no english speaking) stuff. We had a family room in the hotel, the room was great. Spacious, clean with a tv and fridge. When we got to Da Lat the weather wasn't great and it was actually quite cold. Thankfully, the hotel supplied winter blankets to keep you warm. The hotel is a little out of town and requires a long walk/taxi into the centre of town. The taxi costs no more than 5USDs to get to the centre. The staff were really friendly. They didn't speak the best English but we managed to get by. They pointed out one of the best cafes we visited in Asia and gave me my first taste of Durian, though I'm not sure this is a positive. The room was great value and despite being a little out of town I would be happy to stay there again!
