"we stayed 3 nights in the gerbera, hue and had a very pleasant experience. the staff were very professional, helpful and kind. there's always a smile on everyone's face - and they're always willing to lend a hand whether it's offering ideas for children's activities or suggesting a restaurant to try. we enjoyed a wonderful new year's gala dinner at the hotel with other guests. the hotel location was perfect - right by the river and central area - lots of nice shops around. we took a day tour of the nguyen emperors tombs which ended with a boat cruise along the perfume river docking just a few minutes walk from the hotel. though the weather in hue was very cold at new year, the staff at the gerbera hotel provided the warmth. "

"- Location: it is very near to the Trang Tien bridge, the Nguyen Dinh Chieu night market, stay at the Hue centre. And easy to go to the Thien Mu pagoda, the Hue Imperial Palace and many more historical places. - Food is delicious. - All staffs are amiable. When we ask, they will help us quickly. - The room is gorgeous, has balcony let you immerse yourself in the beauty of Hues' nightlife. "

"Pros: - location! Set on the river (get a river view room!), with big grounds for our daughter to run around - just across the weekend “walking street” where all the restaurants are - closed to traffic after 6 (only on weekends I think) - big rooms (4th floor river view) with a nice big bathroom and a balcony overlooking the river - nice breakfast terrace with good selection of choices - very kind and helpful staff Cons: - Overall hotel is a bit old - pool is not filled to the top so a bit hard for kids to climb in and filters don’t work perfectly as a result. "
