Pro - Hotel is very near convenience stores and near various restaurants. It is also near the Local train station which is a 5 min walk form the Hotel which will take you to Taipei main MRT station. Very accommodating and friendly receptionist and will help and try their best in any providing your request . Cons - room was a bit small so if you have a big luggage it will be a challenge. The hotel is a bit musty cause maybe it is a bit old hotel. Sound proofing is also not that good you can hear the conversations in the adjacent rooms.

The stay in Majesty Hotel was superb! The room given to me was so comfortable that whenever I step into my room, after some travelling and long hour shopping, all my tiredness were all gone! There were fruits and cans of cola provided in the room and instant beverages given were very nice. There is even wall mounted water dispenser providing instant hot and cold water inside the room! The room is very spacious and so does the bathroom. Although the hotel is 15 minutes walk from the Taoyuan train station, it is rather easy to find its location that is behind a temple in the middle of the major road (something special to visit in Taoyuan). Actually you can take a cab from the station to the hotel as you can already save the cost to hire a cab to travel from the hotel to the airport. I would recommend to stay in this hotel on the last few days in Taiwan, especially the departure timing for your flight is during the wee hours. Best part is that the hotel also provide packed breakfast if you need to leave the hotel very early in the morning! I will certainly choose to stay in this Majesty Hotel, if I will go to Taoyuan again.

On the 16th floor no less. The healthful pool was SERIOUSLY hot, and (NOT for kids) so was the immaculate steam & sauna rooms. This sophisticated facility was near perfection (in a minimalist style) because the designers know and love Water, with all the fancy trim in the world unable to cover if that vital element is lacking. (If the utilitarian florescent lights are a glare for you, just switch them off) A second-to-none oasis, and, it's included with room at no extra charge! How cool is that? ...... well cooler than the beautiful outdoor swimming pool that was heated to a perfectly comfortable temperature, and built with the brains to buck the new trend of not haveing a main drain. I don't know what new pool builders are thinking to delete filter drains, but other hotel's pool after pool are so disgustingly filthy on the bottom, they must add tons more toxic chlorine to pretend clean. What a delight to experience the Fullon's Water, fabulously clear and sweet and not stinky. Wow! And now that I'm on a roll, gotta mention the bathroom in-suite was just about the best shower I've ever enjoyed, EVER. And I happen to be a connoisseur of such finery. If Water is a pleasure for you, as it is a passion for me, this total bargain of a hotel (that is 25 minutes from airport) rates a solid 9 by my very high standards.

I've booking 2 bed from picture in agoda but have only 1 big bed then they said the picture is wrong and then they add one more bed for us without charge, i think this is really good resposible for foreigner especially when we are really try and need to relax. Food it's very good vegetarian , fresh and delicious.

My companion and I stayed for 5 days here. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping were thorough. They receptionists would call for a cab when my companion and I would request it. It was raining during our stay and they lent us umbrellas. Pros: - air-conditioning units were working well - clean room and bathroom - good ambiance - good housekeeping - hot shower ...My companion and I stayed for 5 days here. The staff gave us air fresheners but the smell of the smoke would be too strong - there was no proper elevation in the bathroom so while showering, the water would flow everywhere outside the shower cubicle. There wasn't anything to block the water from flowing out either so the bathroom would be a wet mess after showering. I am not sure if this is applicable to the other rooms thou.

My stay was a pleasant stay, staff at reception is very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was not really great. Enough choice but the quality of the food was not more than average. The restaurant staff were not very communicative and sometimes a bit slow in cleaning the tables. Stayed for a night in this comfy and clean place. Lobby area was quite small and had no sitting/waiting area near the main counter. The rest of the floor was filled by their in-house restaurant/cafe. We loved the street food options in the area near the hotel and there is also a shopping mall about 15mins away. However, the “mandarin speaking tourists” stay at my level is extreme loud - before 7am, the first round I requested them to reduce the level of “shouting discussions” as I’m sleeping… once I went back, within seconds, their “shouting discussion” goes on again, the second round I beg them with no improvement at all, the third and fourth time, I shouted them loud, but have totally no respond… I know that this is their daily practice as “shouting discussion” and understand why there are so many negative comments for the “mandarin speaking tourists”!!! A good hotel sometimes would drag down by its customers. A recommended hotel for me provided if you planned to wake up before 6am.

I think that if the hotel can spend some money on fixing the facilities in the toilet, my experience can be much better. The room and the bed is acceptably clean. The price is relatively cheap. The staff is friendly and is willing to offer help if there is a problem. They also help me to freeze my hand-dleivery package when they know that it is delivered on low tempature. In fact, the mosts of hotels in Taoyuan in Taiwan are old. The district is not well developed. It is not easy to find inexpensive, new and comfortable hotel.

The location of the hostel is great. Just 5-7 mins walk from Taoyuan train station. However, the hostel in only 8th floor of the huge building that requires keycard to get in. You need to call the staff, so that she come down to pick you up. If you have no cell phone then it will be a little inconvenience. It takes around 30 mins from the hotel to the airport by car (my friend drove me there). But I guess it would take 45 mins to an hour if you take the bus from Taoyuan station.

This hotel is like a luxury boutique style with King sized bed with a PC in the room. It is moderately spacious and the toiletries are provided in full. The only downsides are probably the less variety in the chinese breakfast (i find it ok ), the location in the alley not very far from the main road, the drinking water is limited but you can top up in the ground lobby...This hotel is like a luxury boutique style with King sized bed with a PC in the room. Btw, you can take ubus 706 at outside the taoyuan train station n dept store to taoyuan international airport in just 30mins, although the hotel recommends guest to take the 5059 public bus which takes one hour which i find it appalling.
